Lovely room and grounds, great breakfast, friendly staff. Gorgeous location.

The staff was genuinely lovely. They were so patient and encouraging when we tried our best to speak French, and they were happy to help us out in English whenever we got stuck. It really made us feel welcome. The château itself is stunning and beautifully maintained, with incredibly comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. You can tell they take real pride in keeping this historic building in excellent condition. Breakfast was served in this gorgeous dining room, and everything was delicious and exactly what we needed to start our days of wine tasting and exploring historical sites. We're already talking about when we can come back - Château Richelieu really made our trip to Bordeaux special.

Nice bathroom and grounds. Room ok. Felt a bit disappointed. Not really as advertised. No view of the river nor are you anywhere close to the chateau. Asked for an extra pillow, and even though the place was not full, was told there were no extra pillows to be had. Room was small and dark. Others mentioned wine tasting, but was never offered even though we bought some bottles.

A very comfortable, luxurious room and excellent breakfast. Personal and friendly service in a beautiful country château surrounded by vines, trees and birds.

Beautiful Château with a great atmosphere. A location like an enchanted fairy tale. Excellent hostess. Great place to explore the local vineyards and restaurants .Big thanks to the three wonderful women Léa,Leatiia and Sylvie, who take special care of this place, making a visit to the Château a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Forever in our hearts.

Our room was really lovely and the photo on website does not do it justice. The bathroom was also exception with two sinks and large bath. You also had access to a seating area outside with a view over the vineyards. We were lucky that there were no other visitors the first night we stayed and it was like having a chateau and pool to ourselves. Our host Lea was lovely and could not do enough for us. We will definitely look to book again with our family. n/a

Everyone was very welcoming. A really lovely tour of the vineyard is offered to guests and the breakfast is delicious. The pool is a welcome relief from the summer heat too. Nothing

We had two very spacious rooms in a chateau with plenty of history, which is beautifully decorated. The property is set right adjacent to the vineyard, and a short walk up the hill to a lovely restaurant which was recommended to us by the friendly host, with fantastic views of the area and excellent food. The gardens can be enjoyed by the guests, a swell as the swimming pool , which was just what we needed on a hot day. Located in Fronsac it is close to Pomerol and Saint Emilion.

A relaxing place to stay, away from the busy tourist areas yet very accessible. Great advice on everything we needed to complete our journey through SW France.
