Hôtel de la tour à LIBOURNE

We liked that it was easy to drive to and that there were good restaurants nearby overlooking the river. We also liked that we were able to park in the secure indoor private parking before check in because we got there before they closed at 1.30pm. The room was comfortable and cute. The city is also cute. Our car was full of stuff since we are on our way to Spain. So we are always a bit worried about our car. We were out to dinner and decided to check on the car in the garage. But as we neared the garage we saw 2 men who looked homeless who were huddled at the entrance outside the garage. We just kept walking so as not to open the garage door. But as the night went on, I kept thinking how the pizza delivery has a car in that garage and what if they were waiting for a pizza delivery to open the garage and get in. We couldn't sleep because of this so we went to check on the car in the middle of the night around 3.30am. Everything was perfectly fine. Whew! It's just hard to know if a city you don't know is safe or not, especially when you have a car full of stuff. So I'm glad everything was fine. There was probably nothing to worry about. So, whew! The staff was lovely and everything went well.

The hotel is right on the river and there is a secure parking a few blocks away. It would be helpful if they had a little map to help you navigate from the garage when you were leaving. The building itself is not in a tower, but next to it and within a few minutes walk to the center of town. Very comfortable, nice staff, and pleasant restaurant.

Great staff, good food, comfortable rooms and beds. Location very centre of Linbourne. Bit quirky but good. They gave us secure space in a nearby garage for 5 motorbikes.Much appreciated. Nothing really.

Amazing location, very friendly and welcoming team, dog friendly and flexible when we needed a few more mins at check-out. There wasn't anything we didn't like

Brreakfast was good, overall a good place for an overnight stop, the only thing to mention, we had a room at the top of the hotel and there is no lift, not easy if you have problems with stairs etc. It was a shame that the restaurant was closed but we found a Bistro across the road that was very good

No decaf coffee. Nice pastries.

Had everything we needed and all the character to match. Air conditioning in the room lovely balcony with a view of the river. Very friendly staff we got to the property earlier than expected and arranged for us to have access to our room before checkin opened. Beautiful restaurant behind the hotel with a gorgeous little courtyard where we had drinks! Perfect!

The bedroom was clean, spacious and bathroom was good. The service at dinner was unfortunately poor. Our table was booked for 7.30 . The entree arrived in good time, but we then waited 1 1/2 hours for our main course . The staff did not explain until we asked, that there had been a problem with the order in the kitchen.

Superb location. Very friendly staff and secure parking for my motorbike.
