Nothing, really… Cleanliness, charges on everything, no showers, onsen is dirty
-
Friendly staff and super breakfast! Bathroom is public only and small
-
Very cosy and traditional. The owner is friendly and attentive. Breakfast was exceptional. The onsen was quite small and didn’t feel as clean as other facilities I’d visited.
-
Wonderful place and people. Good location and beautiful views! Thank you! Nothing
-
Lovely location close to the lake with an incredible view of Mt. Fuji from our room. Rooftop also had stunning views. Staff was welcoming and showed great hospitality, and it was convenient being picked up by our host from Kawaguchiko station. Facilities were clean, comfortable, and spacious. Room was quiet at night. Breakfast was especially delightful! The onsen was also very enjoyable!

Love the traditional breakfast ? and friendly staff. ?

Room with Fuji view!
-
The lack of busses in that vicinity, but it's not their fault. The place is on the lake with great views and they provide shuttles to and from (times are limited with both but they're present)

Lovely ryokan. Family-run. Very clean. Amazing, unobstructed view of Mount Fuji. There is a breathtaking view of the volcano from the rooftop. Beside Lake Kawaguchiko with lovely views of that too. I had a big but cosy tatami room with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. The breakfast was amazing and it was different every day. The owners are very kind, helpful and responded quickly to my messages, before I arrived. The ryokan itself was really nice after a day of sightseeing and you can book a private time to use it. The owners offer pick ups and drop offs to the bus and train station. Highly recommended. Nothing. All great.

There was a bit of a gas smell which I assume is the old style heaters at the place.

Breakfasts exceeded our expectation- each morning we had a set breakfast included 3 different fish, 2 pork dishes, 1 egg dish, plus salad, yogurt, and 3 different type of fruits. The items also changed between the two days we stayed there. It was absolutely amazing!
-
Beautiful location! Onsen was wonderful after a long day of biking around Kawaguchiko. Room was lovely and cozy. Staff was so kind and helpful despite the language barrier!
-
The staff was great and super friendly. The AC was great Not that many options for electrical outlets, but that seems more like a general issue of tatami rooms. The room I got would get super warm during the morning, the materials and the sun hitting it directly making me wake up sweating. (though I am someone that cannot stand the heat) The AC was very much needed.

Rooftop deck has spectacular 180 degrees view of Mt Fuji and surrounding area. Onsen is available for private reservation (¥1000 for 40 minutes) for yourself and/or with another person. Good traditional Japanese breakfast. Free shuttle to town twice in the morning. Helpful staff. Rooms don’t have private bathrooms. Ryokan is a 15-20 minute walk from town.
-
We booked our room early. We had a full view of mt Fuji while laying in our beds. A shirt walk to town. About 1 km. Great for me. But not for others
-
The location was great, the room was spacious, the host was sweet and the breakfast was super elaborate. The roof terrace has a wonderful view over both lake Kawaguchi and Fuji-san
-
The location was perfect, the man who runs it was so sweet, the room was spacious, very traditional, amazing view of Mt Fuji from the rooftop
-
This was great to stay in a traditional Ryokan and the location for views of Lake Kawaguchiko and My Fuji were excellent. I think the price though for a 5 and 9 year old child additional of 17,900 yen was very high for a child for one night.

Amazing location and great staff! Super friendly and had a great stay

Nice traditional Ryokan. We were well taken care of by the local couple. They are extremely welcoming and attentive. The onsen is very nice and the breakfast is large and really delicious.
