We stayed there to visit the Van Gogh exhibition at the Fukushima Prefectural Museum of Art. Since we drove there, it felt very close to the station. There was an Akabeko capsule toy machine, which my kids really enjoyed. It was a bit of a hassle having to park across the street, but it was tolerable because the parking was very cheap.

Twin room size is quite big and comfortable. All sanitaries are cleaned and well arranged. No free car parking area as said in booking detail.

Good breakfast buffet especially the honeycomb. Location is good especially for those who drive, one payment irregardless of how many times within day that you take your car out. We had a good size triple room. Lobby is pleasant with nice sitting area for free coffee and tea. Nothing

Overall, our stay was great! Can't comment on food as we didn't eat there but everything else 10/10. We especially liked the convenience of the location right in the city centre, the ice- machine and the staff. So friendly and helpful esp for a group that couldn't really speak Japanese. N/A

The location was good and quiet at night. The room was decent sized and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good. We were a group of six cyclists on a cycling tour of Japan and were made to feel unwelcome at check-in. I have been leading a group of cyclists to the Tohoku area for 3 years and have stayed at this hotel for each of the past 3 years. Last year, we were able to leave our road bicycles in the lobby where they were not in the way of the movement of guests and we knew they were in a safe and secure area. This year, we were informed by the hotel staff that we could not keep our bicycles in the lobby and was initially shown an area outside that was not under cover. We were made to feel unwelcome with our bicycles at a time when cycling tourism should be promoted as an environmentally safe, enjoyable and healthy way to travel in Japan. After my polite protest that the initial location to store our bicycles was not suitable, the hotel staff member relented and allowed us to park our bicycle in the staff bicycle parking area on the understanding that this was a special and one time concession to our request. As hotel guests, I would have thought that we would have been treated better and made to feel more welcome as cycling tourists. I note that other hotels that we stay at on the cycling tour either allow us to bring our bicycles into our room or provide a safe and secure area for storing our bicycles. For next year's tour, I have chosen to stay at another hotel in Fukushima.

My group is very happy with our stay at Sankyo Fukushima. The room. Is pretty large and clean. The breakfast is awesome with many dishes, including fresh salad, bakeries and fruits. I have nothing to complain. I would give the perfect grade 10 if the wall paper at the sink in my room was not peeling off

great location - at the city center. can do laundry there. great value for money. note: the double bet is a bit small, but that didn't bother us. also, their parking is a paid one..

Friendly and polite staff. I always enjoy the mountain view from the room. Recently, city installed solar panels on the mountain slope which detract from the landscape. Ugly view.

The staff is too nice and it has great buffet both western and Japanese style breakfast with quite lots of options , the room was great The only thing that disappointed me is un flushed toilet , this is first time i am coming across with such a case in Japan , I understand maybe just the cleaning person forgot it, therefore i kindly ask to be more attentive so that such things won’t happen in future with other customers

There is honestly nothing to dislike about the hotel. The room was huge. The price exceptionally low. The staff friendly even for Japanese standards. The facilities easy to find and honestly an amazing stay. The only fault one could give them was some spots were a little dusty but really not bad.
