The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner buffet had a wide variety of options! There is very little English support when you first arrive, like the parking situation was difficult to understand but the staff still did their best to help us!

I first visited the property back in 2018, as a sort of first dive into Japanese hotels. At the time, I was simply enamored with anything different and gave the hotel glowing reviews. I am pleased, then, that I am able to give this hotel a review again. I’ve traveled a lot in my time since my first visit, and know a bit more about what to look for. Even in the midst of, well, 2020, this hotel continues to go above and beyond. The staff are courteous and friendly, willing to help as best as they can. The buffet continues to delight, now with added safety measures to ensure that diners can walk away safely. The room was nice and ready for me, the futon already laid out. Considering this was my last vacation, and probably the last time I’ll travel, given the current climate of things, I’m happy that I chose this hotel and Iizaka Onsen as a final trip. N/A
