The reception was very friendly upon arrival. Check-in was easy. There is an elevator. I had a single room with a queen-size bed and an excellent mattress and pleasant bed cover. There was a small bottle of mineral water upon arrival. The room was quiet and pleasantly cool - although I think there was no air condition. The room and bathroom were very clean. The TV was working. The breakfast was excellent and plenty - with very pleasant staff. The only thing that was a bit disturbing was that the ventilator in the bathroom took a long time to stop running every time one switched the light on there. Otherwise all was fine. May be the name 'Hotel am Dom' is a bit misleading - it is not right next to the cathedral, but a small walk, i.e. 5-10 minutes away, depending on the speed of walking.

Not so crowd and easy to get in and out. Very good location and few minutes walk to the center. Staff act professionally. Extra payment for car parking.

Desk staff was great - friendly and helpful. Close to Christmas market and local brewpub. Very clean room. Room 216 is next to stairs and very noisy. People on stairs and door to floor could be heard all night. Breakfast was disappointing because hot foods were not restocked but there was at least an hour remaining. VERY narrow entrance to parking lot behind hotel; barely able to get SUV in or out.

Very clean hotel, central situated and normally parking with a small Euro amount to pay.

Has used this hotel several times so no need to explain. Good value for money.
