Funtana Resort is located right on the coast in the small town of the same name, with attractive cycling and hiking trails and olive oil and wine roads that lead to the largest vineyard in Istria. Surrounded by the sea and Mediterranean gardens, the resort offers an all-inclusive service and was renovated in 2022. In addition to a full-board service and additional selection of snacks and beverages, the all-inclusive service also includes sports facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire resort. The newly refurbished accommodations units are spread out across four pavilions cascading down towards a picturesque beach. Relax on sun loungers at the pool with a sea view, the beach, or in the deep shade of the pine trees. Have fun with training sessions, aqua aerobic, dancing, live music and show performances every night during high season. Relax while your children are having fun with our Fun & Sport Team. Nearby attractions include Aquapark Aquacolours Poreč (2.5 mi) and The Euphrasian Basilica (5 mi). Scuba diving is available in the surroundings. Valkanela Beach lies less than 0.6 mi away.

The people were super nice and we had great time with them, also location was what we looked for. The food there was a good option with everyday something different, also the activities for kids were a highlight specially the MINI CLUB and the boat options where we could get pedals and kaiak everyday. In general the room comfort was a plus and also they have Electric Car charging station that was a big plus The accessibility of the hotel is terrible. The should mention it on the description, we have a 3 month baby with stroller and we had hard time. There are stair everywhere, to just leave the room and eat we need to pass but 4 or 5 different stairs without any option with accessibility. Also the room was in front the pool with shows everyday until 23:30h and we could hear everything from the room plus the pool light was always on and we had light in our room. The boat tour I dont recommend it, the hotel option is worse the the other vendors there.

Sport centre and food was delicious The behavior of reception , when we arrived they explained hotel rules and everything . 5 minutes later we found ourselfs at a tiny room that you can't breathe at all , we didin't even had space for our lagguages . Terrible tiny , anyway they share separated beds for couples just to know . Later on me and my wife went to get a private boat tour around the area of resort but the guy told us that we were not part of resort because we didn't had the blue bracalet . Ashamed , went to reception and the receptionists where like nothing happend . Typically racist because she saw our albanian passports .

Drinks from the all inclusive machines, it is a sirup based colas, fantas, sprites, ice teas... It would be nice to have a natural orange juice for breakfast as extra or real lemonades at the pool sometimes. Beer tasted as some low budget sort, wine and coffee is also nothing special but OK. Stronger drinks are served from 21h-24h and at the end of a day there is no snacks or food avalible - vending machine would be nice at night Overall nothing special, but they have all the drinks avalible all day if you order and pay. So i guess it is OK. The place is very nice!

The staff is very polite. The food is good. And the nature around the resort is beautiful. Everything was really nice and we hope to come back soon.

We stayed over Easter with the family and enjoyed the all-inclusive offer. The food was plentiful and fresh, with plenty of variety. These days you would find those standards rarely even in four-star hotels! The staff is friendly and helpful; the rooms are clean and well kept. Plenty of activities on offer too, like minigolf, bike rental, tennis court. Overall, a great stay!

Staff is amazing from reception to F&B to Housekeeping. Hotel has at the beach own sunbeds and at the pool.Kayak, mini golf and Tennis are included in the price. Steps, Steps and Steps if you are with baby stroller prepare for a nightmare it is obvious that the resort was bulid in 80s. Drinks are not top notch but sill it is fine.

Our stay at the Maistra all-inclusive resort exceeded all our expectations (which were high to begin with :) ). Starting with the wonderful reception ( Neva and Nina) at the front desk and the excellent staff, followed by beautifully arranged and clean rooms with comfortable beds and pillows, and air conditioning. The food was top-notch, catering to every taste, diverse, fresh, and incredibly delicious. The sea was beautiful and clean. The sunbeds were in the shade, and the beach was wonderfully maintained. We were impressed by the number of available sports activities, making the day fully enjoyable. In any case, this might be the best place I've ever been to, and we will definitely be coming back next year! Greetings from Serbia ??!!! I don’t have a single negative comment.
