Feriendorf Ponyhof

We loved our stay at the farm. All the hosts are wonderful and our two small children had an amazing time playing with the animals. All the facilities are well maintained and the food was great. Looking forward to our next relaxing visit! -

The hotel is very clean, the location ia 10-15 min by car from the ski area, kaprun or zell am see. We liked the pool, the sauna, the food is very tasty, we practically liked everything and we want to come back next year. It is a great location for families with kids also! The water temperature from the pool, could be a little higher, 5 degrees higher it would be perfect.

Ideal for family holiday with kids - farm with ponies and other animals; playroom for small kids and older ones; indoor/outdoor swimming pool. Very nice buffet breakfast, tasty dinners. Our room could be cleaner before the arrival - carpets, dust under the bed/sofa. The days with buffet-style dinners, it was a little more busy in the restaurant, days with served dinner were calmer.

Great staff, nice spa, very good breakfast and dinner with lots of varieties each day, free parking, small ski - lift behind the hotel for kids and beginners, cross country ski trail passing by the hotel. Excellent experience. Definitely one to be visited again.

Great hotel: true 4 stars for very reasonable price; great tasty breakfast made from meat/diary products from the hotel owners’ own farm; very decent SPA zone included (although it closes at ~7:30 pm, ideally I’d run it till 9 pm) which was great to use after coming back from skiing; very warm in the room; lots of free parking spaces; lovely animals in and near the hotel (a cute cat, cows, ponies, etc.); nice and friendly staff Disadvantages are far from being as significant as the advantages and don’t impact the overall impression that much: the nearest ski resort to the hotel is not a top one in Austria being relatively small and more red/black, but Saalbach (in Top-10 in the country) is in reasonable 30 mins driving; SPA could work a bit longer - if you ski in Saalbach, finish at ~4-4:30 pm, and eat afterwards, you realistically have less than 1 hour for SPA before it closes at 7:30 pm, which feels a bit less than enough; also I don’t know if charging €1 for each pool/table tennis/air hockey game is a game changer it terms of the hotel’s income but it feels a bit weird for the 4-star hotel :)

Very good

We were on holiday with our one year old son and everything was perfect, the facilities, the children's zoo, the playrooms, the pool. Food very good, absolutely perfect for families. Probably a small thing, except for the main building there is no elevator in the others, we were on the second floor and it was more difficult with a small child, otherwise nothing.

The room was enough big, kids had one room, and parent another one. Bathroom was big. Clean. Food very good. Nice spa.

Friendly staff, great location, wonderful spa area

Great stay. Excellent buffet and breakfast. Awesome sauna (unfortunately due to my children I wasn’t able to find the time to enjoying myself) and pool area. Staff were very friendly and the children’s facilities very much enjoyed by our children. Purely preferential but our room was dated in its decoration. Still very clean and functional but could use a little “designer’s touch” to better fit the Austrian farmhouse theme/aesthetic.

Family friendly hotel, very nice staff, everyday pony rides, petting zoo and amazing outdoor swimming pool. Beautiful mountain view, tasty meal, local milk products...

Really top! Good location with nice view. The hotel is family friendly with playground and pool. We had a very enjoyable holidays and I would definitely recommend.

This accommodation was really unbelievable. Everything was perfect. Definitely we will visit Ponyhof again. Superb vacation. Thank you.
