Muy buen hotel

We reserved a suite, we were assigned a handicap room poorly maintained. The room had a heavy refresher smell to cover a urine smell. Staff, including manager told us they were fully booked with no other rooms available. However they showed us another room, that was worse than the first one. We collected our luggage and were leaving when an assistant manager begged to show us another room. The room was acceptable but we would not select this hotel again. There is an additional charge for daily parking. Breakfast was as poor as the hotel.

It was awesome.

Our sink faucet broke and we asked them to fix it which they didn't until we reminded them and then they came at 6pm when we were in the room and were there for an hour. The toilet clogged and they also did not make up our room when I asked them to when we left the room and was told they would. Our room also smelled like urine.

The breakfast tables were always sticky, and the toilet bowls in the men's restrooms on both the first and second floors were dirty. During my seven-night stay, the bath towels and room trash were replaced proactively only once; for the rest of the time, I had to handle the replacements myself.

PARKING IS EXPENSIVE

I’m 50 years old and have stayed in all kinds of hotels and motels. I usually stay at the dumpy Red Roof across town where everything is fine, nothing special. I decided I wanted a little better accommodations since I was going to be moving in two kids this week. But after these two nights, I won’t be doing that again. Yes the hotel is more convenient to town, but the state of those AC units makes it impossible to get a good nights sleep. All night they made an intolerable racket, a wobbly flutter like a fan was loose. The staff said they changed out the entire unit. If so, then it’s proof the hotel is woefully behind the times. Unfortunately it was not money well spent but I did learn a lesson that I will have to choose a different location on my next visit to Gainesville.

The location is great! The Amount of towels, overall facility, and complimentary breakfast are nice. Both beds in the room were hard and creaked loudly with every move. Parking is atrocious, it cost me 30 bucks to park.

Centrally located to UF and Amenities in downtown Gainesville Parking on the street was not friendly, but the parking garage was easy to use.

I paid for a king room with sofa back in April and was provided a double queen with a "there's nothing we can do" attitude

The breakfast was fabulous and hot. Eating area was clean and comfortable. The hotel was surrounded by lots of great restaurants.

Good (not great) location…easy walk to plenty of restaurants. Nice breakfast. A little overpriced. We were there in July…this is Gainesville, not some tourist destination. Also had to walk to where the car was parked and pay additional.

Great location Great price Awesome pillows Street noise motorcycle reviving at bars Parking garage info was confusing from staff

Expedia says the parking was free but the stuff mentioned that $25 would be required for the parking.
