B&B Antiche Rime

We had a wonderful stay and truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. Alba was an amazing hostess—kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh and delicious local food every morning. Waking up to the beautiful Tuscan countryside made the experience even more special. This was one of our favorite places during our trip to Italy, and we would happily stay here again. Thank you, Alba, for your warm hospitality! There is not a single negative thing.

Nothing. It was the most beautiful stay

This is a renovated B&B in a historic building. The beds were the most comfortable during our entire trip. Our room was freshened up every day after we left for the day. Breakfast was very good and included homemade jams and breads. Easy parking. There's only 3 rooms and I had reserved 2 of them, so we had the entire place to ourselves for a lot of our stay. I put down the wrong number of people on the reservation, but Alba was accommodating and did not make a big deal out of my mistake. Alba had some restaurant suggestions and every single one of them was fantastic! She has great suggestions! She knows the area and is passionate about great hospitality. The B&B is in a very quiet area, which was exactly what we wanted. The views are so relaxing. Nothing!

The location is great with amazing views! Its easy to get there and some great restaurants are near by. The hotel was a rustic vibe to it, beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast is good and a bit different every day. The hostess (Alba) is amazing and very friendly. We had very relaxing stay at her BnB. Also, as a nice bonus, if you stay more than 3 nights, you can visit a lovely winery near by and enjoy a tour and wine tasting for free.

We loved everything about Antiche Rime. The room was clean and well appointed with spectacular 270 degree views of the Tuscan countryside from the top floor room. Breakfast was a real treat with plenty of delicious options including homemade preserves. Alba is the perfect host, knowledgeable and very friendly. Antiche Rime is close to Castel Briole, wineries and the l’eroica base of Gaiole Nothing

The location was perfect. The view was so picturous and pastoral, unbelievable!! Alba the hostess was very kind ,friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with big variety. There were too many steps.

Superb

Wonderful, quiet, rural location in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. Very friendly helpful hostess who prepared very good breakfasts. Magnificent views from our top floor room. Good free off-street parking 50 meters from the accommodation. Two restaurants about 1km away (15-20 min walk), one offering excellent value local cuisine, the other fine dining. A flight of steps up to reception and another to our room............

Everything

The most wonderful host, very helpful and taking care of each detail of our stay. The room has a stunning view over one of Chianti's wine valleys. Special recognitions for Alba's (host) breakfasts - almost everything was homemade and absolutely delicious. Marmelades stole our hearts. There is a winery of Cantalici's family where you can take o tour and wine tasting just a 10 minutes walking distance, so don't you worry about driving a car after few glasses of wine - you won't need it.

Very nice welcome by Alba and her willingness to help. Super location close to main places to visit Tuscany. Azzura room with beautiful view out of each (of 3) windows. Excellent breakfasts with local specialities.

everything was Perfect

Super friendly Host. Great Location to discover Chianti Region. We Had some mosquitos in our room (normal in the nature), but the ceiling fan did the trick.

I had the most wonderful experience at Casa Antiche Rime in Gaiole in Chianti, where my husband and I spent 5 incredible days. Our stay was made truly exceptional by the incredible hospitality of Mrs. Alba. She was not only open and friendly but also incredibly funny, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Mrs. Alba went above and beyond to assist us with local tips and even provided us with a voucher for a complimentary visit to a local winery. Each morning, we were treated to a great breakfast featuring delightful local delicacies and homemade dishes prepared by Mrs. Alba herself. The room we stayed in was nothing short of extraordinary, providing us with everything we needed for a comfortable and serene stay. The cleanliness and attention to detail were impeccable, and the view from our room was simply breathtaking. Our time at Casa Antiche Rime truly felt like a home away from home. This charming place in Gaiole in Chianti has undoubtedly been the highlight of our Italian adventure. We can't wait to return and relive the magic. This is a magical place in the Chianti hills. Very welcoming host, beautiful view of Brolio Castle from our window - we had an amazing time. Highly recommend this place!

Love this BnB for the area! We drive ourselves around as per Alba’s suggestions! The breakfast was amazing!! And Alba can make a cappuccino perfectly. Do yourself a favour a book her for your stay, close to a great little restaurant and a winery for a tasting.

The B&B is in a beautiful house in a small, quiet hamlet. Perfect for unwinding. The views from the top room are superb.
