Comfort Suites Galveston Cruise Port Area – Beachside

As soon as me and my family arrived the front desk lady was not very nice she seemed like she was in a hurry to leave and our room that we got it was just not what we expected there was alot of hair in the bed restroom floor and your not going to believe it but there was also lots of hairs in the small fridges. Im just a little disappointed because you would expect a decent clean room for something expensive that it costed me. Im sorry but I dont recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff but this hotel needs work. The exterior needs a major overall. The fitness center had broken machines. The back door was taped to not lock. The pool door didn’t lock. Washing machine broken. Smoking employee by door. One luggage cart was broken and one was partially broken. Our bathroom was dirty.

The staff was great especially Kelly. She was awesome and helpful with anything we needed.

The staff was great. The beds were awful. The breakfast was gross and they closed early. Putting away things before 9 so we couldn't eat. Everything was dirty. The fridge was rusty and so was the microwave. Stains on everything. Smelled like paint everywhere.

Nothing woudnt stay there again. It was old and falling apart. You couldnt even see the beach. Everything was rusted. The refrigater was rusted. The microwave was rusted inside. The bed was hard. The couch was hard too.

The staff here was absolutely the best I've encountered in years! They were kind and so helpful ! I cannot find enough nice things to day about them: from the front desk ladies and the breakfast server to the room attendants every single person was super nice. The room had some things that need attention : the door lock/ handle was concerning and didn't stay in position, the baseboards were removed and not painted over or replaced, and the microwave was in disarray when I opened it to use it. But overall, we would honestly stay here again because of the warm welcome we received from the hotel staff.

Location was pretty decent. Thats the only likeable thing about this place. Absolutely a horrible value for the money spent. 300 bucks for one night while under full construction/renovation, parking lot was small and an absolute nightmare, the beds looked like they had been slept in several times already and they just pulled the blanket over. Paint over spray all over the floors, bed, and headboard. Even the mini fridge and microwave looked old rusty and musty. Bathroom handle fell off when I went to close the door, screws on the floor. ALL the furniture was very minimal and outdated. Wifi didnt work and the staff did not care. They just said it was broken.

It was clean. Staff was helpful.

I liked that it was walking distance from the beach. The staff was nice. Ice machine and refrigerator was broken. The A/C wasn’t cold like it was supposed to. I reported it but maintenance never came.
