Galveston Beach Hotel

Room was clean, staff was polite. I came with my family and enjoyed the pool too!

This place was a last minute stay. It was very clean and in the morning all I saw along the hallways were women cleaning and maintaining this place. Very clean.

Pictures and some information is not accurate (old pictures) I’m loosing trust in Expedia, because I’m thinking that all reviews and pictures should be up to date, accurate and honest. But that’s not the case for my last few stays specially this place. Rude staff, and now this place looks different. From the Business Center that is no longer there, no computer access or printer, I was asked to email my important docs to the owners Gmail and they will print it for me, not safe or smart to do at all. And all rooms are sideways no ocean view!!!

Staff not friendly, rooms were fair, door keys would not work half the time., breakfast area windows needed cleaning , air conditioning in breakfast area not working , elevators were very slow , breakfast food was limited, no sausage or bacon. Will stay somewhere else next tlme..

The room was clean to begin with, but we never got housekeeping services. We had to ask for new towels. The pool was very nice and clean and well maintained. The breakfast was mediocre. The location was inconvenient for most restaurants.

We enjoyed our short stay we had to book this place last min due to the issue with a previous hotel

The room was clean and the cleaning staff was pleasant and helpful. The door appears to have been kicked open and not very well repaired. Our keys stopped working and had to be replaced at least 4 times.

Terrible hotel, dirty, room are clean but you smell mold everywhere. Very bad experience will never stay there again

The hallways were dirty, the door on the room was vey hard to open due to being unbalanced. The room had recently been updated with new furniture, beds and the bathroom was very nice. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were terrible. Our room had a HUGE, rusted crack down one wall and the door to the balcony was rusted and broke around the edges, all I assume, from settling and not being repaired. I let the front desk manager know about this in the morning, she said I'll let maintenance know. I told her it's shame to spend so much money on remodeling the rooms and updates when the walls are cracking and terrible, she said I'm just the front desk manager. The hotel could be super nice if the walls and doors are fixed and the hallways cleaned. The room was clean with clean linens and towels.

The room was nice, clean for the most part but due to being in the Seawall is understandable. The bathroom is nice and spacious. Beds were comfy just would suggest bigger pillows. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel meh definitely no bells and whistles. The convenience of the beach across the street was nice however the price seemed to be a little high for what you get. The breakfast consisted of eggs, various breads, pastries and fruit. They also had waffles, cereal, offered yogurt but machine was out of order. One of the biggest drawback was hours for breakfast was 6am-9am. The staff was somewhat friendly but seemed like they were there for the paycheck not once did I see a smile from those at the front desk and also had to wait for someone to come to the front counter on more than one occasion.

It was great. Clean, very nice staff.
