This was my treat comfort hotel after 2+ weeks staying at modest home stays throughout Sikkim. It turned out to be a perfect treat and excellent value. Manager Prasenjit Laha was extremely attentive to all my requests and small needs as a single older female traveler. The location was also excellent. I warmly recommend the property. Nothing

The property was fantastic, the manager and staff were very gracious, responding quickly to every request, making us feel immediately at home. Our son got a gastrointestinal bug and the manager and staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was great too The only hiccup was a short power outage (not the properties fault probably) and the WiFi that could be stronger in some of the rooms.

The Netuk House is comfortably located in the centre of Gangtok: it’s quiet and only a 5-minutes walk to the MG marg. The architecture is (partly)traditional Sikkimese. Beautiful! The rooms with authentic interior design elements are comfortable. From the balcony you have a beautiful view on the Kanchenjunga mountain on clear days. The owner and staff are kind and helpful. The buffet style breakfast is basic. The mattress in our room was a bit soft in the middle, so we ended up ’rolling down’ towards each other during the night.

1. Staff was courteous . we arrived quite late by 1am and they were available for smooth checkin 2. The room was quite big , mountain view as booked 3. Bathrooms were clean and hot water was available at all times 4. Enough sofa space and seating for group of people 5. we had asked for extra bed which was prepared before our arrival itself 6. Location is quite good and about 8-10 mins to MG road which has all eateries 7. Property is beautiful - lots of flowers , cleans and heritage portions of the hotel , good view 8. Taxis were allowed till inside so luggage management was easy 9. Did not try the food as MG road was so near - did swiggy and it was accessible - different tea varities would be nice - had only assam team - no infusion or green tea variants

Everything was excellent, from the support for activities and the comfort of the room to the staff, at every level, that went out of their way to be helpful. I don't often award a 10, but this is worth it. Laundry took a while to return, but it did in the end, nice and clean.

Loved the view, the location and the heritage rooms. Breakfast option was not great and I hope that improves.

It's nice, heritage, cozy place with 13 rooms all together. We were group of 5 and felt like place for all for us. :) Lot of open space to sit and relax. Bigger rooms are inside (based on my experience), one with view are on also available. Since its heritage house with not many rooms, the choice of breakfast items are limited. But they were very tasty.

Near to the mall. The property manager was very prompt and helpful and but rest of the staff were not that great. The entrance to the property was weird. Several of the things need an upgrade including the shower fixtures which came off while I was bathing, etc etc. This was promoted as a Sikkimese homestay, instead none of the local food I wanted to try were available. It heavily displayed North Indian food and within the small amount of Sikkimese food that was on the menu, most weren’t available. I wouldn’t call this a homestay at all

We did not expect that room with the tariff the hotel has demanded. In 10 days of our Sikkim tour this was only the worst experience.
