Gateway Inn Gardena

Had good reviews, but the room we got was not clean. It also had an unpleasant smell, sheets and floor were stained, and we could not even call front desk to report a faulty toilet [since the phone wasn’t working]; there was no cable connected to wall or phone.

Our room was infested by ants they were everywhere crawling all over the walls. My kids got bit I took videos of the ants climbing on the door and wall. It was disgusting just because it was so late when we got there I would’ve looked for a different hotel. Never booking this place again and the elevator was broken our room was on the 3rd floor and my kid fell over trash on the steps

If you are a lite sleeper do not get rooms 101, 201, or 301. They face the mail street and its a very busy road. The elevator was not working. However, the stairs was good exercise. The staff is extremely helpful. I needed to switch rooms, which presented absolutely no problem for them. Someone is always available.

All amenities were noce

The room wasnt the best... it could have been clean better. There was a roach in the room. I have pictures as well. It was just horrible. The staff was very rude to me. Im going yelp as well.

Staff was super friendly and the room was clean. The ac wasn't the best but it kept the room some what cool parking good beds were ok

Pictures didn’t look the same as in person. Dirty bed sheets and carpet.

Cockroaches, uncomfortable beds.

Poor property, poor cleanliness.

The property was under construction which left the rooms unfinished but they were still renting. The rooms were not clean and were dirty and the carpet was stained and disgusting. I am still trying to get a refund.

While there is a lobby, the staff seem to prefer to use the after hours window. The staff were pleasant to deal with.

Room need better cleaning also the staff need to be more friendly

Pillows were rough. But shower and room was nice.

Gateway Inn is my little escape when life gets too crazy.

Estacionamiento suficiente, el hotel está en aceptables condiciones, sin embargo la habitación necesita mantenimiento y tiene cucarachas, si nota que es un problema constante ya que hay polvo para intentar exterminarlas en todas las orillas del piso. Afortunadamente solo pasamos una noche ahí pero no volvería.

El hotel estaba muy sucio las almohadas olían feo la carpeta rota y en mal estado la limpieza en mal estado no me vuelvo a ospedar en ese hotel

We were given keys to a room that was already occupied by someone laying in bed! It was after 8pm and we had to go back downstairs, no elevator - after we were exhausted from traveling all day to get the clerk to get us a new room. The parking lot had 8-10 men standing around smoking marijuana. Scantily clad women were walking among them. It was not safe looking. The room itself was ok but the toilet had paint or putty or some substance that was used to repair it that was unsightly. I would not stay here again at any price, especially not the $112 they charged me.
