The Electric Hotel

The water never went over warm so a hot shower was out of the question. The photos on the website make the place look way better than IRL

central location, can walk to beach or geelong afl stadium easily no natural light coming in through window in the room. we were not informed when we booked.

Great location, is easy to get around

Room was large and bed was comfortable. There were skylights over the bed which cast light into the room during the night. There is no way of blocking this - no blinds... But most importantly, the room smelt very bad. It was stale and had a distinct odor. I had to sleep with a towel over my head to shield the light and mask the horrid smell.

Love the little details ie. kettle, shower head, sliding glass door to bathroom. A lot of thought has gone in.

Location was excellent, walking distance to great eateries. Communication with hosts was excellent. Directions and access easy to follow Parking out the front a challenge to drop off luggage

There is a nightclub next door that kept me awake (but that's not the hotel's fault) and I wasn't overly keen on having my car parked out on the main street. But this is only nit-picking. Overall, I loved staying here!

The room was of a good size and very clean. it is a centrally located property, in very close proximity to entertainment venues, dining and bars. Our room did not have a window, only a painted over skylight, so we were woken very early by the light. Our only contact with a person was by phone to ask for some tea bags, which never came. The television was selected streaming services only, so we couldn`t even watch a news bulletin. We could hear heavy base noise from one of the venues at 4.30am.

The room had a funky smell to it, the walls in the bathroom could have been cleaned better, and the water in the fridge wasn’t fit for drinking. I tested it.
