Terrible staff. Need to be retrained! Over an hour for check in when rooms should have been ready. Travelled with elder parents and they were made to wait uncomfortably in the lobby. Room service: food was cold, no cutlery, missing items, etc. Staff claimed they were busy with an event dowbstairs. We had to go downstairs to kitchen to retrieve items we had ordered and found Staff happily sitting around chatting and having their meal downstairs instead of attending to guests when on duty. Saving grace was the gentleman that was cleaning our rooms. He was delightful, friendly and helpful. Courtyard Penang staff should learn from him.

I appreciate how exceptionally clean the room is, and the variety of pillows available allows guests to choose according to their personal preference. The location is excellent, situated in the heart of Georgetown. The staff also provided excellent service when we requested extra pillows. The breakfast should be regularly replenished to ensure items are always available and not left empty. The lobby is a bit small, which may give a somewhat unimpressive first impression.

Room/corridors/pool area not very clean. Bathroom needs some repair. The rooms are not soundproofed as advertised. Not a very central location. Staff not very friendly. Very overpriced for the overall quality of the hotel.

The cleaness and the comfy It’s very noisy due to the sound proof is not very efficient. Especially door open and close.
