Nice Inn

Simple rooms, but good value. Close to lots of cafes and restaurants and walk distance to the a few attractions. Cheah was very nice and sent us lots of information about places to eat, to visit. He is very friendly and hospitable. Good pressure and nice hot water to shower. :-) I definitely recommend staying here! Nothing bad to say.

Location, price.

Ot is smack right in town and very near to all the eateries. Very very convenient. There was a little bit of a musty smell when we opened the door but it went away after a while.

Decent place with good ac. The hotel was clean and drinking water is provided. Bed was comfortable and staff were welcoming and polite. I did see in other posts people stated they could drop their bags off early however we could not nor could we check in early. It was no problem just stating for anyone who sees this who will arrive earlier than check in. Tons of food options and stores near by. The restaurant directly next door is some of the best food we’ve had in Malaysia When I booked the room the listing said city view however there was no window in our room which was a little disappointing. I knew before hand they had rooms without windows from photos however what I booked said city view so maybe update the room listings for guests. The pillows are like everyone said… rock hard and uncomfortable. We were on the second floor and could hear the karaoke bar next door however it wasn’t extremely loud and we were still able to fall a sleep

The staff were very nice. If you have questions, you can ask them directly and they'll be able to answer them. There's also parking available for those driving. There are a few snack shops next door within walking distance. I happened to live right next to the bar, so it was a little noisy every night. I could hear them singing. The water in the wash basin was a little small, and the pillows were a little hard.

Quite central and easy to get around for food.

There's a karaoke right next door I guess? I heard people singing even past midnight. Before going there I noticed they had a nice rooftop terrace. I wanted to bring some snacks to chill there, but there were many pigeons (the owner's hobby I think), so I didn't stay for long.

The staff was super welcoming. Before arriving, I received a lot of links for activities and places to eat. It was a nice way to discover the city. The street is calm and not too far from the city center of Penang. The street is full of many restaurants and it was a pleasure to visit them each day. I really recommend the Luck Luck bakery. So good and staff is so nice. Thank you for this really nice stay. I'll be back for sure.

Room is marked "non-smoking" however, we smell cigarette the whole night, affecting our sleep.
