Hotel Sportalm is located 656 feet from the newly-built Dorfbahn Cable Car and the center of Gerlos and offers panoramic views of the Zillertal Valley. Guests can pamper themselves in the on-site spa area consisting of a sauna, an infrared cabin and a steam bath. The Isskogellift Ski Elevator is 2625 feet away. All rooms are fitted with cable TV and a bathroom with a shower or a bathtub. A terrace or a balcony is standard in each room. Tyrolean cuisine is served at the Sportalm Hotel’s own restaurant. Half board consists of a rich breakfast and dinner. A hot tub can be used against surcharge and after a long day of activities, bathrobes are available for an extra fee. Guests can also relax on the sun terrace. A ski storage room is provided at Hotel Sportalm. Within a 2-minute walk, guests can find a ski bus stop and a grocery store. A bathing lake is 2.5 mi away. The Free Mountain Card is (Use of the gondola elevators Isskogel and Königsleiten incl. MTB transport (only for the Isskogel-elevators), valid from the opening times of the mountain railways. Clean and comfortable hotel with a wonderful spa area. Staff are helpful and friendly. The restaurant makes a nice dinner for half board guests. Room was a little tight and the balcony is open to other balconies which made leaving the windows open uncomfortable.

The hotel was very, very clean, it had a very tasty food (breakfast and dinner) and the staff was very friendly. It is close to the 'Spar' st Supermarket and has a lot of bars and restaurants around it. Free parking is also one of the advantages of the hotel. On the fourth floor, they had a beautiful and clean space for sauna and wellness, which was very practical. I highly recommend this hotel. -

I am sure that the Sportalm Hotel exceeds expectations in the "price/performance" ratio - spacious room with balcony, refrigerator in the room, wellness, excellent food in terms of variety and quantity (we had half board), location of the hotel, garage parking included, free regional bus transport and 2 cable cars There is no reason to criticise from a rational point of view

Friendly, warm hearted staff, who made the effort to get to know us and chat. It was especially lovely that all staff spoke a little English, we really appreciated this effort. The day we checked out we were taking part in another guided hike. The hotel reception said that we were more than welcome to come back and shower at the hotel before our journey home. This was so kind and part of the exceptional service from the hotel . The hotel is part of the Aktiv scheme, so we joined all of the guided walks…… Our guide Bernd was extremely knowledgeable of the areas, and such a relaxed guy to be around. The hikes are so worth doing for the stunning views and friendly people at all of the Alms where we had stops for delicious food and drinks. Nothing

What a beautiful location, the mountains are absolutely stunning at this time of year (late September to early October) The hotel and village were pretty quiet as I didn't go in the ski season, but I was made to feel really welcome by the hosts. The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed, I particularly loved the powerful shower, especially after my long drive. The food was absolutely delicious with very generous portions, and the BEER was amazing, I bought a case locally to take home to the UK, unfortunately most of it didn't make it back, I couldn't help but drink it...lol It could be closer to where I live.... lol

The hotel is located in the centre of the village with a 10 minute walk to the bottom of the main lift. As we were summer visitors we got a free local lift and bus pass which we made good use of. The hotel has an underground car park which was really handy for us. We went on a half board basis which was good value. Great breakfast buffet and a 4/5 course evening meal.

The staff was so friendly, treated us like family and took care of all our needs without question. Excellent hospitality!
