Okay common area Absurdly tiny and overpriced room. Horrible access (no cross walk on busy drag strip street). Overpriced breakfast. Ugly location.
-
The room was clean and the hotel cool with its backpacking flair (a ping-pong table and bar on site). There was a patio and a hiking trail along the canal right next to it. The hotel isn't far from Gent's historic downtown. I liked everything except for the small size of the rooms. But the size was not a surprise because it was stated in the room description on Booking.

Everything was good, breakfast was delicious.
-
The breakfast was well appointed and the hours of availability convenient for both early starts and leisurely ones. The hotel staff seemed almost too busy. At one point I was waiting to purchase sparkling water at the bar and waited over 10 minutes only to find that there was a self service area near the check in desk.

Small room for 3 beds.
-
The room was clean and comfortable. Very close to the railway station. The hotel was quite a way from the the Old Town of Ghent.
-
My room was small but comfy, and the air conditioning worked nicely. Room and facilities were clean

Luggage room available I understand its Ibis Budget, but this was just too bad. Small room, TV on the side wall !!, not clean room and not clean at the reception and breakfast area. Parking needed to be paid extra, even if you are a guest !
-
The room had no internet, which I needed for work. I asked the hotel staff for the wifi; they gave the wrong wifi name. I went down stairs to the reception, The very unhelpful staff member said: "Yes, this is a problem". But they offered nothing to alleviate the situation, instead suggesting that I use my own phone for internet. Funny, but that's not what I paid the hotel for!

Modern, artsy, fun and spacious.
-
The room a bit too small
-
Only minus was that it was too hot in the room.
-
Location & Room No Ketle in the room, no hot drinks available, need to pay

Great great breakfast ?

Great value for money, helpful staff, nice facilities and well located.

Location is ok, public transportation is 400 meters away, or you can walk to the center (around 1.2 kms). The rooms are quite small, but you get what you pay for. Also, every adjacent room is separated by a plasterboard, but fortunately we didn't have anyone staying next to us, cause I imagine you'd hear everything. Beware of that if the hotel is fully booked.

The staff were nice. You can not control the thermostat in the room. I was very cold. The thermostat can only be controlled by the staff. It is locked. Finally after the second request they turned it up. However, I still had no control. Apparently every time you want the temperature in your room adjusted you have to ask the staff to change it. It is not the staffs fault.

Close to train station. Nice and clean property
-
Rooms very small with no storage. A few hooks or pegs to hang coats, towels etc would help

Clean and well-maintained room. The hotel is modern and functional, and the overall stay was comfortable. Staff were professional and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. Location is also convenient with good access to the city. The pricing experience was not transparent. I did not receive a confirmation email after booking, which meant I could not verify the total amount beforehand. At checkout, the total cost (€450 for 2 nights with breakfast) was higher than expected for a standard room, which made it surprising. Clearer communication of the final price and booking confirmation would improve the experience.
