Close to historic sites. Fresh croissant and buns supplied every morning was a plus. Perhaps face washer (small towel) is not customary in Belgium, so ended up using hand towels. Fresh fruits would have been great with plain yogurt for breakfast.

Location was very convenient, pretty close to the center. Host was excellent and explained everything to do around town. Breakfast nice too, with many free stuff and the host was eager to give us more if we wanted to.

The hosts of this property were so wonderful and gracious. They were welcoming and easy to communicate with (very responsive) during a stressful traveling experience getting to Ghent. The room was lovely (just as pictured) and the bed was extremely comfortable. All the comforts of home and great suggestions of local sites to see nearby. The location is perfect and so walkable. There's even a small grocery around the corner to grab some basics such as milk for coffee in the mornings and snacks for travel days. If I ever find myself back in Ghent I would stay here again. Nothing really within the control of the host, but as a solo traveler it was an adjustment to get used to the sounds of others coming in through the entry door (which was right by the door to my apt.) later in the evening when trying to sleep.

The hosts were really nice and responsive. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The location was terrific. Feather pillows in the bedroom would be nice. We have feather pillows that we bought at IKEA that are great and reasonably priced.

The location is great! It sits around the corner from the medieval castle in Ghent. There are lots of neat restaurants and little convenience stores close by. It's also very quiet. The property manager was great and he is always available. The only issue that we encountered was kind of a funky odor when you walked into the apartment; but, after you were in the apartment for a few minutes, you really didn't notice it.

The apartment is very well designed and decorated and extremely comfortable.. André, the host, recommended excellent restaurants and helped us discover the beauty of Ghent. He was attentive and helpful, including providing access to a washer and dryer and taking our luggage to the taxi rank when we left. The B&B is very well located for sightseeing, with an outstanding bakery and coffee shop nearby and close to a supermarket. We highly recommend this very comfortable apartment and hope to be able to return one day. Nothing. It was really excellent, we had no complaints at all and recommend it highly.

The location of the B&B is right near the Gravensteen and has easy access to a number of bus and tram lines, yet it was a very quiet area. There was plenty of space for a single traveler, including bedroom, TV room, and postage-stamp private garden out back. The host provided plenty of coffee and supplies to help get guests started in the morning, and the kitchen was stocked with pans, plates, and utensils for cooking and eating in, if desired, during your stay. Host André was very kind and gave me a brief overview of the city and things to see when I checked in. Be sure to ask him for a bakery recommendation, as the one he suggested was a fabulous mix of bakery, coffee shop, and chocolatier. Only suggestion I would have is that some extra bath towels and more than one pillow on the bed would be nice… but that’s pretty minor!

My husband and I stayed in a small apartment on the ground level. The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet at night; the kitchen (located in the bedroom area) was well stocked; nice, hot shower; strong Wi-Fi. The host was delightful and we appreciated that he accommodated us with a slightly earlier check-in. For us this was a great choice for a short stay in Ghent with easy walking access to the historic center. Just note that you have to pay in cash. Not an issue, but something to be aware of.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Received plenty of information at check-in on what to do while in Ghent. Breakfast was more than enough. Can't think of any major points, nice little place!

The location was great -- a quiet neighborhood, and an easy walk to all the sites. The host directed us to the supermarket around the corner, and a fabulous bakery down the block. The apartment is well equipped. It even had a hair dryer with a diffuser (curly-haired people take note!), We liked the egg cooker in the well-equipped kitchen. Great shower. The layout of this apartment is quirky: the bed and kitchen are in the first room, followed by a small space with a fold-out couch facing a TV. This space leads to the bathroom, which leads to the patio. Bed linens were flannel, which wasn't the most comfortable for summer.

The studio was comfortable, very clean, and perfectly located in a quiet street within 10 minutes walk from downtown with a supermarket within 2 minutes walk. The host was very friendly and helpful and provided us with everything we needed. Breakfast was good and more than enough. All in all a great stay with an excellent host.

It is in a perfect location and you have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Plenty of space, self serve breakfast, good location to walk to centrum, quiet

Location very close to the historic downtown. Personalized recommendations from the owner when we arrived. Ability to check in early (11AM). Range of bars, restaurants, shops and sights to see very close to the accommodation. Nothing-it was perfect!

The apartment is well-equipped, spacious and nicely decorated. Its proximity to the city center makes it an ideal place to stay. The only thing that I can mention are the pillows. Unfortunately, we found them quite uncomfortable.

The studio was very nicely decorated, it contained everything required for a weekend away, breakfast in the room was well organized, owners were very flexible and friendly, location was very central yet quiet. We stayed in the garden studio, so there was a table and chairs outside in the small garden. Honestly there wasn't anything I didn't like.
