Very dark, and noisy airoconditioning. Asked for quiet room and it was arguably the most noisy location you could have.
-
Room was so authentic and high ceiling was something we actually did not expect.

Great location
-
Shower floor extremely slippery, needed bath mat.
-
They have issues with the air conditioner and didnt tell us at the check in. I should go downstairs to investigate. No slippers in the room
-
will stay there again

Breakfast fabulous but location the best

Location We asked for a quiet room but were given a street facing room. Due to the heat we had to open the windows but the street noise kept us up all night.

Location to central Ghent is spot on! The size and comfort of the room was superb. Is a really classy place to stay.

On checkin we were offered an unacceptable room (in room stairs!) and given a 2nd room which had problems - safe did not work, could not get hot water from shower, reading light did not work. The room looked out onto a dreary array of other rooms. Very helpful person arranged for an alternate room with street view, for the following 2 nights as none were available then. Although smaller, that room was very pleasant.

Hotel was nice and clean. Located very close to local attractions and the canal. Lots of food near by as well. Loft room was beautiful with great views overlooking the city. Loft room didn't have a shower, only a bath. Stairs could be difficult to walk up for people with mobility issues.

Location

Location to the main sites of Ghent. Yes I’d stay here again. We found the DOK Brewery! Wow they had some great beers. Also eat a bucket of Mussels at ‘tklok huys brasserie’. Also there was car parking nearby. At 6:30AM in the morning construction workers started with a loud chipping hammer on the wall next to us. Need I say more? why on a Saturday morning???

So so close to the city center but still quiet. 2 minute walk from public parking garage. Right across the street from grocery store. Staff were amazing and welcoming. The AC unit hadn’t been cleaned out in quite some time so it smelled a bit bad at first turn on. Overall, everything else was very clean.

Very nice and clean hotel, great breakfast, professional staff. Well worth it, close walk to the center.

This comfortable hotel in the center of Ghent has large, spotless rooms and fine beds and a good breakfast. The staff is pleasant and helpful. My room was larger than expected and very nice. The hotel is a shorty walk from the Ghent inner harbor and the Ghent castle. This is not a problem with the hotel, but I warn travelers arriving by train that the train station is not well-equipped to allow you and your luggage to reach different floors and you will have to drag luggage up and down stairs. Somebody is not competent at the BNCF.

I thought there may have been more toiletries available such as lotion in the bathroom, for the price that it cost. It was quite an expensive stay therefore I expected a few more luxurious touches.
-
The room was spacious and comfortable, with a good sized bathroom. The hotel was value for money, given it was holiday time. No negative issues at all.
-
Clean and spacious. Overheated even with air conditioning off. Breakfast lacks ‘proper’ coffee!

Located just a short walk away from the main downtown area. AC hadn’t been kicked on yet for the year so it was quite warm while trying to sleep on our first night.
