Almost everything! Amazing location. The breakfast (buffet) is overpriced @ 32 euros per person and just so-so overall. However, I would still highly recommend this hotel— especially when our nightly room rate was around $200 US all-in.

This hotel is in a PREMIER location for exploring / walking Ghent. I don’t think there is a better location to start your exploration from.

Location was perfect. We were only in Gent for one night and wanted to spend it mostly in city centre, so it made it very easy to walk around and save money on Ubers which we previously had to spend a lot on when we stayed at the Van der Valk last time. Very nice and pleasant check-in staff and clean facilities.

We are returning customers to the Marriott in Ghent. The price is decent, the location is prime, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I do find the breakfast a bit pricy for what it offers. We also dined in the evening at the restaurant, food was really delicious and nice variety menu, portions a bit too small (but then again we’re good eaters haha). The rooms are very spacious and neat. I do find a bit slippery, the only thing missing for me was a magnifying mirror for my makeup. We ordered quite a few times room service and I do find this should not include extra 9euros. The rooms were clean, although the cleaning lady didn’t wash, replace coffee mugs in 2 days. But, in all we are always very pleased, and will definitely be back again. With all the tiny remarks, I do highly recommend this hotel.Almost forgot, thank you to Stephanie and staff for decorating our room last minute with a lovely voucher and note for my husband’s bday. Replacing the coffee mugs wasn’t done daily.

Location was the best. Plus the lobby area and the Poppi Bar were very nice. The rooms were modern and comfortable. The staff were amazing. Friendly, courteous and very helpful. Nothing.

Excelent location in the historic heart of Ghent City. We really enjoy the experience to stay in the center. The building is very nice, the breakfast good and we where able to park our car. Very nice. Nothing to report
