De Draecke Hostel

Just too hot in dormitory on 2nd floor. Was in heatwave but would not stay in summer as needs ventilation of some kind if not some air conditioning.

Everything was fine for the price.

We booked a private double room with private bathroom. It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Very close to the historic city center. Nice area to walk Mattress could be better.

Great location, friendly staff, clean room and bathroom There were many children at the hostel, they were loud early in the morning and made the wait for breakfast very long, the breakfast buffet was very simple and not very nice

Use the thing that there is not wifi during my stance.

The location is great, walking distance from the center but in its own corner so it’s quiet at night. The breakfast is ok, good to get your day started. I wasn’t a fan of the bed layout, probably my fault for not checking better. There’s no privacy curtains so I had a hard time sleeping at night. And the pillows are not too comfortable so that didn’t help.

Superb location, very close to the city centre! The room was very spacious and the fact that the toilet was in a separate "bathroom" from the shower itself, truly helped my group of friends and I. The breakfast was also super good and the hotel staff was super friendly, giving us loads of recommendations and suggestions!

I loved the staycation. Massive place with a great place to socialize and chit chat. The location is perfect and centered to many tourist attractions. I loved the buildings around looks straight out of a movie. Late night the street lights are not so bright so it felt uneasy to walk around but the property as such was amazing.

The breakfast wasn’t really interesting

Staff were great, and hostel was in a great location, a few minutes walk from the action. Didn't like the shower in dorm room, it was angled in an awkward direction and couldn't be adjusted. Also it was very difficult to plug power adapter and phone charging cord into sock . et, the bunk bed frame was in way. And tons of little flying bugs downstairs in eating area, a few drowned in my glass of beer.

Children's play area with many interesting toys and games. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Great location. Affordable.

Mattress could be better

Great location, staff, bedding that was provided was very nice quality, seemed starched and pressed not just washed. All was very clean Nothing

Location, nice mix of people, all we needed for a short break. Well run and friendly. A very reasonable choice of foods for breakfast. Would definitely recommend it as a convenient and good value place to stay in Ghent.
