Excellent location, handy carpark and very helpful host

Lovely apartment near the centre of Ghent. Good facilities and really great apartment (one of three I think). A really good option in Ghent. Nothing.

The lighting of the apartment also gave the room a really cheerful and airy feel that was further elevated by how clean the room was. The terrace that was part of my room was super lovely, and I also really loved the big green plant in the room! It was also a super safe location so it's great for female solo travelers like myself! The breakfast offerings were a bit less than expected. While I did love having the Nespresso-style machine in my room, I had expected at least one simple protein-based option in the communal kitchen (like yogurt) based on the information given on the listing -- I have some blood sugar issues so I can't just have fruits and pastries for breakfast (i.e., what seemed like the main offerings in the communal kitchen).

Very clean. Very comfortable. We were not missing anything that we needed. About 1km from the city centre. Owners responded very quickly to any questions.

Very well designed and maintained room. The maisonette bed setup was a nice touch. I also loved the kitchen which had everything. The frites place on the same street was nice and the owner was very helpful (NB: cash only!) Nothing. There’s no negative. Easily walkable to Central Ghent.

The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. We had our baby with us and she went out of her way to provide a cot and sheets for us. Easy walk into the beautiful Ghent town Centre. Lots of space in the room and very comfortable.

Loved this place! Spacious and comfortable rooms with everything you'd need, very comfy beds, and a great location to explore Ghent (~15 min walk from city center). The host Els was very friendly and responsive as well.

Exceptional

No Fridge or Microwave

Violet Suites are a little quirky and we loved it. Els was really lovely and extremely accommodating. We arrived a bit early and even though she wasn't quite ready she accommodated is and made us at home. The breakfast was really good - eggs, bread, yoghurt, cereals, cheese, meat juice, coffee, tea and on our last morning croissants. The location was also great, easy access to the city and stations (Dampoort) and tram. Ghent is a foodies paradise. Would definitely recommend.

The woman who runs this is very jovial and helpful. The room was quiet and private. The quiet air conditioning was very much appreciated as the city was hot at the time. The location was excellent for the part of town we needed access to. Bed was very comfortable. Overall, a nice contemporary design at a fair price. Thank you! The breakfast was minimal. That's ok. Just slightly disappointing.

I booked a weekend here for my sister and brother-in-law for their wedding anniversary - they loved it. Nothing - all great.
