Very friendly staff which helped us with renting a scooter and excellent chef and waiters. Well maintained place that’s very big. Extremely spacious rooms. AC works very well (which wasn’t the case in other places). It’s beautiful colonial style but you can see that it’s quite old. The gym has old and not many equipment. You want swim in the ocean (at least in rainy season) because the waves are pretty high and the beach and water are a bit dirty (it’s a public beach so not the fault of the hotel). You need a scooter or take Gojek/ Grab because there’s nothing around.

Loved room, breakfast, pool, function room (wish there were more games in the funtion room). Enjoyed that my pizza was brought to the function room so we can play chess and listen to relaxing music while eating. The hotel was perfect, but the location was not convinient. Had to hire private driver.. I would have appreciated a shuttle to safari. We walked, but location is not built for safely walking due to traffic. No one walks. I would have liked if hotel had a shuttle to Ubud or nearby city for shopping.

The staff - Agustin and check in was incredibly helpful, Ani in the restaurant was a star too! The value for money The pool and the view The cleanliness of the room and the facilities The clean ACs We took 2 rooms. In one room the AC was ok and in the other one it was so loud , like a jet engine Also, if you struggle sleeping with noise, ensure you book the ocean view so it’s far away from the road. The food in the restaurant was not 5 star. Surprising for Bali.

The hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. It has an amazing walking track, with views of the beach. The staff is exceptionally professional, and the chef ARADA created amazing culinary art everyday. The only thing lacking was a treadmill in the gym, rest the facilities, services, and everything else were on point. The beds were huge and extremely comfortable.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to experience this hotel to the full extent as we arrived very late and had to leave early the next morning to get to the boat harbour. Consequently we only saw one person, who checked us in! When we left we just about saw the beautiful breakfast area and pool but it was before dawn so didn't see much. What a shame, it looked like a beautiful hotel. The room was spacious, clean and with a nice sized en-suite. Would have been nice to see it in the daylight!

I’ve wanted to stay at this hotel for so long, and the opportunity finally came up over Nyepi—it was everything I had hoped for and more. The property is absolutely beautiful, regal, and immaculately clean. My upper-level room was light, bright, and free from any mold, making for such a fresh and comfortable stay. A very quiet location away from the bustle of Bali. The grounds are simply spectacular, and the pool… well, it felt like 500 meters long! Swimming there was an absolute dream. The energy of this place is incredible—peaceful, luxurious, and right on a little beach, making it feel even more special. The staff were incredibly kind, and their English was great, making everything smooth and welcoming. For a five-star experience in such a quiet, magical location, the pricing was beyond fair. Considering the value—including the amazing food—I could have stayed somewhere in Ubud for the same price and had a much less enjoyable experience. Instead, I was standing on the beach, looking back at the hotel, thinking, "Oh my, my dream has come true." So very thankful for this stay—it exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend!

The property is set in a good location. And looks like a dreamy, picturesque mansion. Its close proximity to the Bali Safari and Marine Park was an added bonus to us. We went to the restaurant at the hotel for both dinner and breakfast. The dinner was served very late, almost 2 hours after taking our order. The food arrived cold as well. Breakfast was good. But didn’t have many options.

the only view to the pool hygiene is very poor, pool is dirty , air conditioner is not working , curtain is dusty , breakfast choice is limited

hygiene is worse . my son got vomit post swim . husband and daughter have rashes on body post sleeping on bed overall the stay is very disappointed . the bicycle is old , brake is not working . pool is not clean , room air conditioner not working , gym is too small . everything is minimal , not worth for the money at all

the staff were amazing and the property is quiet, the gardens and ornamental lake are beautiful. The rooms are very well laid out and the ambience of a bygone era in an old colonial house is quite special. The infinity pool is lovely and the terrace for breakfast is perfect. the menu for lunch and dinner is the same -there should be more choice for dinner.
