There is no elevator. Two sets of stairs just to get to reception and we were on the third floor so another three sets of stairs. No offers to help us with luggage. We had a suitcase each as we were travelling from Canada.

Ton many stairs and no elevator...this is a very old building. Also the street noise is continuous in the daytime.

The hotel itself was fine but the street outside was absolutely filthy with trash, smokers and bums galore. No apparent civic pride in Glasgow anywhere we went, actually. Litter everywhere! Very disappointing. Come on Glaswegians...get your act together!

It's very close to the train station and convenient for travelers. Things are generally old but functional and pretty.

Fabulous breakfast. Perfect location, very central and easy to find anything. Great for those exploring on foot!

The room, although up in the attic, was large, comfortable, and had an excellent bathroom with full sized bath.

Location near train station. Near airport bus shuttle stop. Nice cookies left for us after room cleaning. Lots of shopping nearby. Noisy street. Needed ear plugs because of noisy bar next door and constant traffic. Noise lasted until 4am. No laundromat anywhere handy. No in room WiFi. Had to go to lounge to use the free WiFi. People constantly in the street entryway smoking.

The location was very convenient, having come in on the train. The street below our window was a bit noisy throughout the night. There was no climate control, so we had to leave the windows open to keep air circulating, which meant there was no barrier between us and the pedestrian and car traffic below.
