Easy parking. Clean room. Smaller than we’re used to in double queen room. Nice shower. Comfortable beds.

The avid is a great hotel to stay at in Richmond. The avid chain is very consistent with clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and amazing coffee!

morning staff was unpleasant but i did have a great checkin

Breakfast was not great. Cheap. Options were strange. They had strawberry cream cheese but no regular cream cheese. Coffee was really bad.

We returned to this location for another 3 night stay this year. We enjoyed it last year & knew that for our return trip, it would be the perfect location for what we wanted to do. The staff were all friendly & accommodating. We were pleased with the cleanliness of our room & spent time in the pool with our child.

Clean rooms

When I called 3 times concerned about losing my room due to us checking in very very late at night the staff was super helpful and assured me I wouldnt lose the room and even tried to get us an early check in (we were going to the nascar race and would be at the track before check in) when we arrived at our room it was very clean and was a great hotel to stay in! Parking seemed a little small but we always found a spot!

Personable front desk staff. Decent breakfast. We had a room issue but it was taken care of immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean room and good breakfast

Desk staff member at check in was great. This was our second time at this hotel, and we would stay again. Good price point and convenient to local attractions. Our only complaint was that Sunday morning breakfast was running short of several items at 8 a.m. and the trash needed to be emptied, but Monday morning breakfast was well stocked and the dining area was clean (and much less crowded).

Room was great and staff were helpful. Breakfast was the downfall. Running out of food and utensils during the dining time was not good.

Friendly staff and clean hotel

Hotel conveniently located off I -95. Front office staff, Frankie was very welcoming & provided all necessary information with efficiency. The room reminded of a room display at IKEA with all of the intentional functionality. The room was very clean. Arriving overnight can have some reluctancy but the parking lot was well lit & a back door entry way that was easily accessible to the elevator.

Room could have been a little cleaner. Other than that the stay was good.

The staff was great. The room overall was clean. They just need to do a better job on cleaning the floor. Beds were comfy.

The only slight downside was that the refrigerator wasn't very cold, and it was a bit inconvenient that there wasn't a microwave in the room.

The rooms smelled like dogs
