The staff is friendly and trying their best to fulfill guests' needs. Breakfast is good. Restaurant service is quick, an average meal takes around 15 minutes. The hotel is right in the heart of the city, and you can get lost in the thousands of mini-stores and the Marcado Central. The parking lot is one block away, which sounds close, but in rush hours, the (reduced) staff is challenged by traffic, walking distance, and annoyed guests who might wait for up to 45 minutes or more to get their car and drive away. There's a lack of training, especially in reception on how to deal with the challenging atmosphere, especially during checkouts.

Breakfast had adequate proteins. Coffee was great, as usual. Plenty of water, hot water, and all drains worked properly. By day, was very busy, and had a lot of "normal" Brazilians coming and going. Appeared to be an active and safe location by day. Old part of town, quite seedy. At night appeared to be a security risk. Showing its age and lack of maintenance/improvement. Air conditioner was noisy. Bare walls, even a few empty nails. Light fixtures over bed were without their covers and dilapidated, with eve some bare wire connections visible. Bathroom very small.

Staff. The garage is a big issue. Staff gets overwhelmed when checkout time is crowded. It's far and there is only one guy to take cars. Poor man!
