The staff was extremely helpful, accommodating, and overall pleasant.

Great place. Great people.
-
The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet which was great because I think the hotel was full. Staff was friends and they had to deal with the Hilton system being down which I’m sure was a pain for them.

We had an issue with our room after the first night and the front desk worked hard to get our room changed for the following nights. The location is very quite

The service at the restaurant was awful. Not sure if they were short staffed but took about 25 minutes for someone to notice we were, another 10 to order our food, 30+ min to get our food and 20min to get our check. Super annoying. I personally wouldn’t stay here again.

Clean comfortable rooms, loved the fun style of decor. Great pool. Friendly staff that went that extra mile. Great location -some shops and restaurants are walking distance and Santa Barbara is a 10 min drive.

Super friendly Staff and such a lovely pool area, bar

Having a restaurant in the hotel is good we were able to enjoy some drinks and food on a humidity day. Area was clean. Some staff were nice. Some weren’t so nice. The pool was constantly full, barely any chairs to sit and relax. In the room, there weren’t many electrical plugs for us to be able to plug in our laptops and cell phones to be charged. Water pressure while taking a shower was low. Other than that it was an ok place to stay. Might try a different hotel next time though.

Great location inbetween UCSB and downtown funkzone state st. Although we had a no disturb do not clean room sign, housekeeping still persisted and knocked twice 8 am and 9:30 am. Unnecessary and disturbing.

Disappointing experience at the Leta. We'd planned a three-night stay to celebrate our daughter's first birthday and informed the hotel as such more than three weeks in advance. One key selling point to us choosing this hotel was the fact that both their Expedia page and their website mentioned that cribs were available at no extra charge. We asked for one via email, to which they responded (over a week later), saying that one would be in our room upon check-in. We later called them TWICE to reconfirm that, once two days prior to arrival date, and once more on the day of. Staff reconfirmed over the phone both times. Upon arrival, no crib was in our room (which is a far cry from the advertised photos, by the way). The receptionist checked with her "manager" (one of at least three people who have that title, as we would later find out), who apologized and said a crib would be brought to our room asap. Hours later, still no crib, so we asked again at the front desk where another receptionist said it would be in our room within 10 min. By 9 pm, it was way over our baby's bedtime, so we had no choice but to have her sleep in our bed (which no pediatrician recommends). The next day and after more delays, they brought... a play pen. When we explained this had nothing to do with a crib (a baby can't sleep in a play pen), a third manager said it was all they had. The baby had to sleep with us the entire stay. And despite her birthday, no acknowledgment, nothing. Not even a card. Sad.

The toilet paper holder did not function properly, and the toilet paper roll continuously fell off. The ice tongs had old, caked-on food stuck to them. They were gross and unusable, so we threw them away. Our room was never cleaned during our stay. The hotel's welcome information stated that housekeeping would be provided daily unless a "Do Not Disturb" sign was displayed. We never placed a sign on our door, yet our room was not serviced, the bed was not made, and no housekeeping was provided. This did not align with the hotel's stated policy. The front door did not fully close on its own. We had to pull it very hard to ensure it latched and locked properly, which was a safety concern. There were visible stains on the bathroom walls that appeared to be leftover makeup or other marks from a previous guest. Paint on the bathroom walls was chipping onto the floor. The padded desk chair had a screw protruding through the seat cushion, making it unsafe and unusable. Overall, these issues reflected poor housekeeping, inadequate maintenance, and a lack of attention to guest comfort and safety. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we will not be returning to this hotel.

The staff was the best. Very friendly and helpfull.

Was very clean peaceful and very relaxing

This is a nice 3/3.5 star Southern California style motel. Great pool, good restaurant, nice and clean. But it’s not really a 4-star property with the amenities you’d expect at that level property. I would recommend it for a nice easy, low key stay in SB.

Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Need more staff at the restaurant, we waited awhile for someone come take our order during happy hour.
-
I feel Expedia scammed me by offering me a pool view. There was no pool view in room 202 so anyone seeing this, don't pay extra.
-
Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Pool furniture (cushions) need replacing but the pool area was otherwise very nice. $3 for a bottle of warm water in the room???
-
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! Amazing
-
What a wonderful stay
-
The beds definitely need to be flipped, as both beds were sagging to one side making sleeping in comfortable.
