Thank you so much for a lovely stay! I absolutely loved the property and both Marianne and Geoffrey were so kind and generous! Gorgeous small gem in the countryside. Patio was fully manicured property, lovely welcome by staff and delicious breakfast each day. The room was very comfortable and charmingly decorated, very quiet and peaceful at night, extremely safe location. Top notch! I have been traveling through the French Riviera for 3 weeks: Menton, Monaco, Nice, Cap Ferrat, Villfrench-Sur-Mer, Antibes, Cannes, Saint Tropez, and so far, Gordes has been my #1 favorite. Thank you so so much for a wonderful holiday! Hoping to come back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast. The property was absolutely picture-perfect, with beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere that made it the perfect place to relax. Its location was ideal—just a short drive from the stunning village of Gordes, making it easy to explore the area while enjoying a quiet retreat. Jeffrey was an exceptional host. He was warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. He’s also an excellent chef, and the breakfasts were a highlight of our stay—fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared each morning. If you’re looking for a quaint, beautiful place with outstanding hospitality in Provence, we highly recommend staying here. We would gladly return!

Charming and beautiful property with understated elegance. Close to the old town of Gordes ( 10 min drive) but in a unique setting that was once a convent accommodation. An abundant and delicious organic breakfast served in the lovely garden by our gracious host, Guillaume, who was a great cook and gave excellent information; a rather special host. Would return in a heartbeat. All perfect! Parking was down the very narrow lane at church after dropping luggage. Not a bother.

Centrally located in the Luberon, a perfect breakfast to start each day, the wonderful staff and owners who took care of everything, the very clean and comfortable rooms, the fantastic style and layout of the property, the pool and gorgeous garden, the wine and snacks available, the communication from the host!

Staying here was an absolute highlight of my trip in Provence! The hospitality, amazing breakfast, beautiful interior, close proximity to so many beautiful towns, and all the recommendations from Guillaume were superb. I felt at home here and would easily return!

Everything! We had the dreamiest room - decorated so nicely, comfy bed, and quiet! Guillaume was a superior host - mega breakfast outside our room each morning with yogurt/granola/fresh fruit, juices, coffee, cheese, croissant, pain au chocolat, toast, homemade jams, local honey! It was just a little tricky to find, but we made it! Always an adventure!

Quiet, privacy, the incredible lush garden for breakfast or a book to read, the sun filled room Just be aware the pool is to refresh yourself, not to swim

This place was fabulous! The property is absolutely beautiful. The hosts were very communicative and sent us many suggestions for dining and activities in the area. They made everything easy for us. They also provided a lovely and delicious breakfast and made us feel completely at home. Parking was easy and the hosts spoke very good English. Absolutely nothing. This place is perfect.

Guillaume is the kind of host who restores your faith in travel. On a rainy Sunday, after twenty failed taxi calls (Sunday during the off season), he came and got me himself — and that generosity never stopped. The property is spotless, warm, and feels nothing like a hotel; breakfast was delicious — fresh, local, and organic, with bread from the best boulangerie I've found in all of France (his recommendation). He also pointed me toward a bistro that became my favorite meal in the country — I drove there for lunch every single afternoon and would never have found it otherwise. That's the caliber of insider knowledge you get here. If you're wondering whether to book — just do it.

Guillaume has been a wonderful host, contacting us about check in even days before and made us such yummy breakfast and homemade granola! There were background music playing at the living room kitchen the whole time which was a nice homey touch.

Beautiful home with an inner courtyard and very peaceful. Very tastefully decorated rooms. The breakfast was a delightful spread and very homely. The host was very welcoming and super helpful with suggestions on where to eat, things to do and places to visit based on our tastes. We had an amazing time interacting with other guests in a home setting.

Perfectly located for our trip. Breakfast was excellent and freshly prepared. Guillame provided a lot of great information before our arrival and suggested an excellent restaurant for dinner. Everything met our expectations.

  • Engine customer Jan 2026

The breakfast was incredible and the overall stay exceeded my expectations. The staff there was a high point. Overall we had a great experience. There wasn't much not to like. Rooms are inward facing to the courtyard (which is beautiful) so the only real downside was a lack of views to the surroundings.

Everything! Truly an amazing stay! I will remember it forever! The breakfast, minna, the room! The breeze, the pool! The trees! The lighting, the design! The smell! Truly a beautiful and special place with the warmest hospitality and the most special breakfast in a beyond idyllic setting. We are already planning coming back next year but for a few more nights. Truly special.

Such a pretty and cozy guesthouse. The decorations are so pretty. Perfect place to stay if you want to experience French village life. The host is super nice and so good at cooking. The breakfast offered was amazing. Location is also good around 15m drives to the nearby tourist towns like Gordes. I wish I could stay longer!!

    Very friendly Nothing.

My friend and I absolutely loved our stay at Le Clos de Gordes. Minna was truly the lovliest host, and both she and Guillaume were incredibly helpful resources on all things Provence. I was so excited each morning to see what amazing breakfast Minna had whipped up for her guests. She served the most delicious and flavorful local foods, and sitting in the charming hotel backyard was the perfect way to start our mornings. We even took her advice to incorporate the town of Lacoste into our Luberon exploration day so we could see a Dior exhibit at the local fashion school. It ended up being one of our favorite unplanned detours on the trip! Both my friend and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Luberon, especially if you're looking for the feel and comfort of a bed & breakfast type of stay. Nothing!! Just make sure you rent a smaller car since the streets in this neighborhood can be quite narrow!
