Holiday Cave Hotel

Amazing customer service. I forgot my AirPods there and they literally shipped it to me to another city. Some things have to be paid in cash.

Nice family friendly place with pool and an well designed park giving a pleasant outdoor experience. There was a fly in the room. However can’t complain as the hotel gives a pleasant outdoor experience.

The location and the view Service is a lil bit slow

Sultan cave room was great, however not similar to the photo in the booking. Great view of the valley and the ballons in the morning. Room was different too what was depicted at time of booking.

This hotel was at a great location, not far to walk to the shops and restaurants, we were 10mins away from our hot air ballon ride, it had a great pool which we used after a long day of activities, the staff were great and addressed all our concerns promptly. We will definitely be back with our next group. Pool was awesome it had a beautiful upstairs deck where our group could take pictures and have a great night gathering together.

We were guest at the end of April, in room 16 in Holiday Cave hotel. The room is authentic, warm, spacious with all necessarities. The property is very interesting, breaking was exptional with a lot of various options. The staff was amazing, very helpful and gave us a lot of advices. Location was perfect, personally the best one. Definitely recommend this hotel with family atmosphere ?

We payed for a hotel with pool and the water heater was not working. Also the AC in the room was not working Nobody spoke english in the staff

There are lots of positives about the hotel, it is quite picturesque and had lots of authentic elements dotted around. The rooms are big and the cave element is nice, the bathrooms are very original and huge. The rooms look the part but do need some updating. The biggest positive was the breakfast which was plentiful and had lots of local foods, the staff at the restaurant are so helpful and nice. We also had dinner there and that was amazing, the local clay pot dish so tasty and loved the theatrical presentation. They set up the table for us so nicely and it’s a shame we didn’t go and eat there few more nights. 10/10 recommend the restaurant. The hotel has little animals which the kids really enjoyed, not so much the rooster at 5am but we were up early anyway. The male manager at reception when we checked out was nice and if he was there for the rest of our stay things may have been different. Lots of areas at the hotel weren’t set up yet, it is just the start of the season but the other hotels around had everything looking nice whilst this one had piles of carpets in the middle of the terrace and unused seating areas. It would have been nice to have somewhere to watch the balloons in the morning, in the end we went to a different hotels terrace. Just a bit lazy not to have things looking nice even for the spring guests not just the summer ones. The lady at reception was the only person we met in our two weeks in Turkey who wasn’t welcoming and polite. She did us a favour and booked us an activity last minute before we arrived which was helpful. However when we arrived after a long trip before she ever said hello or offered us our rooms she was chasing us for money for the activity. I understand she local supplier has asked for this but you don’t accost guests this way when they arrive. I am not exaggerating how impolite this was. She also didn’t communicate properly what was actually booked or give us any information about the supplier or the details of the tour so we had a panicked early morning standing at the empty reception with no one to call, the balloons we thought we were meant to be on going up all around us and upset children thinking we have been forgotten. It wasn’t her fault the pick up was late but it was her fault that she didn’t explain she had actually booked a later flight over a different place so we missed the sunrise flight that we had bought we had booked. We paid a huge, huge amount of money and she should have been honest about what was being booked and keep us informed. Every other service I booked in Turkey was constantly communicating and keeping us up to date, this was the only issue we had in the whole stay in the country . It really upset me and almost ruined the whole experience. A few other things like more than 2 coffee sachets and proper water bottles would have been nice. Never been to a hotel which had so little of these in the room. The temperature can’t be regulated and it was like a sauna but I understand the caves are hard to heat and cool. We couldn’t sleep and were still hot with no covers, surely letting us use the air con would have helped. The jacuzzi was unusable in one of the rooms and spewed dirty water and made the room smell, same lady came to check and didn’t apologise. If we had the other male manager there for our stay I’m sure it would have been better

The overall property feel is good, but there are certain points I wish they would work on. I stayed in a family room. There is zero ventilation in the inner room and bathroom. There are no specified places to open bags at. We had to manage with bedside tables and floor. Ventilation was the biggest problem we faced. And space was the second problem. I wish the pictures were not so misleading. Food at the in-house restaurant was great.

The location of the property is fantastic, very close to the centre, yet peaceful and serene. The view is absolutely divine and the property is also beautiful. Very helpful team, they went out of their way to provide us with medicines, and whatever we asked for. Special mention to the cute dogs and pups there who kept my son busy throughout. The view from the balcony was beyond imagination. A couple of things which bothered me were the size of my room. Very very cramped and way too many stairs. If you’re travelling with kids or older people pls make sure you choose your room carefully. We had a kid so asked for another room but they didn’t have any left. We had paid quite a bit and booked a family room, so was quite disappointed at how steep the stairs were and how cramped it felt Also this seems like a private family run hotel, which is not a problem for us but if anyone is looking at the seamless experience of a branded hotel chain, with room service and a restaurant on site then this is not the place. Their restaurant is functional only for breakfast (very less vegetarian options) rest of the time there’s no food available. But I have to say that there’s tonnes of options just outside within a few metres so you don’t miss it much.
