The azalea team made us feel like home. First, Orhan was the best. He took us a tour around the property and invited us their Turkish tea. Then, Safisa had the best hands. She made us the best and really complete breakfast. And finally, Hüseyin and Volcan were really friendly and menciones us the tourists points to visit.

Everything was amazing!

Our room was perfect: spacious, clean, and with plenty of storage to use. It was warm and cozy, and the bed was large and very comfortable. The hotel has a beautiful terrace with stunning views over Goreme, especially breathtaking at 7:00 am when the hot air balloons fill the sky. The breakfast is served from 8:30-10:30 and it’s delicious! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Goreme. Within a 5-minute walk, you’ll find everything you need: restaurants, the bus station, supermarkets, pharmacies, and more. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff – exceptionally attentive, kind and hospitable. They went above and beyond to help us with airport transportation, plan our activities, and give us recommendations. We couldn’t be happier with our stay, highly recommend this hotel, and will absolutely return! everything was good

We loved the terrace. It was an excellent spot to watch the balloons at sunrise! The location was great. Right in the centre of Goreme. We enjoyed the staff as well.

This property is well situated close to all amenities in Goreme. The staff were helpful and pleasant and, although basic, the room was clean. Bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. I had a very early arrival and had to wait about 7 hours for my room. There is a communal area for guests but much of it is open and it was freezing cold. Also, the only toilet, was in the office. I also found the room quite noisy as people were passing by my room at all hours. Ear plugs did help.

It was a great location, easy communication. However we did not get the room booked, which was bigger and different arranged (still received part of the money and got the room for the last night), also it has great views over the city and ballons. The breakfast is really not good.

Very helpful staff. The room is clean, the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is good. Nice roof terrace. Good wifi. Hotel is in minute on foot to the bus station. Smell from the bathroom, because the ventilation is not the best.

Our stay at Azalea Terrace was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Turkey, especially in Cappadocia. The hotel's location was unbeatable—just a short stroll from the heart of Göreme and within easy reach of the central bus stop. It made exploring the town incredibly convenient. In terms of accessibility, it couldn’t have been better. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. Although we arrived earlier than the designated check-in time, the hotel staff noticed how tired we were from our travels and graciously allowed us to check in early, which we deeply appreciated. The staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. They went above and beyond, even arranging sightseeing tours for us on both days, making our experience seamless. The room was nothing short of fantastic—spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated with a touch of local charm. The bathroom was especially spotless, which was a pleasant surprise. From our balcony, we had the magical experience of watching the iconic Cappadocia hot air balloons drift across the sky each morning. It was breathtaking. One of the standout features of the hotel was its stunning terrace, which was elegantly decorated and offered a perfect vantage point to enjoy the morning balloons while indulging in a delicious breakfast. The terrace also had a beautifully curated area, adorned with traditional carpets, perfect for capturing those quintessential Cappadocian photos with the balloons in the background. The breakfast itself was a highlight—delightfully tasty, filling, and a great way to start the day. Every morning felt special, as we enjoyed both the flavors of the food and the extraordinary view. Overall, our experience at Azalea Terrace was exceptional. The combination of impeccable service, stunning views, and charming ambiance made it a stay to remember. We truly enjoyed every moment of it. nothing.

This review is based on the price we paid of £41 for two for a clean, comfortable stay in the centre of Goreme, with an excellent buffet breakfast included in the price. The staff were lovely and the amazing roof terrace where breakfast was served has indoor and outdoor great views of the balloons. Not a big deal but a bedside lamp would have been nice.

Room is big and can see the balloons from Window view. you can walk around the area and to the ViewPoint. and many restaurants cafes and local shopping street. The staff are not friendly at all and not helpful. breakfast is so so. (no real meat) only eggs and mince vegetable.

Great location big rooms, most comfortable bed! Breakfast was great.
