Old Town Stone House

Fantastic hotel! Comfortable room for 3 people. I loved that we could watch the balloon in the morning from the balcony and then go back to sleep. The breakfast spread is great.

Mehmet the owner is very kind and always willing to inform and help. The staff is very kind and helpful!! We booked the balloon with Mehmet and he gets us a very good price (always have cash with you, in Goreme you will always need cash), with a very good company and the best pilot ever!

Great location, soft bed, good water pressure, good working AC Ideally it’d be a bit cheaper, but I know that’s hard to do

Location is not even 5 minute from downtown, staff extremely friendly, terrace for each floor with a nice view of the town AC didn’t work but in June when we went there was a nice breeze and made it nice and cool at night by opening the windows (which have window’s screens)

Location was great, staff (especially the young man from Afghanistan) was helpful, room was very nice. Breakfast was good. Coffee at breakfast was not good!

Old Town Stone House was the perfect location to walk to Goreme downtown and was included in pickup and drop-off of all our day trips. The rooms we got were a bit tight but amenities like a hot water heater, smart TV and toiletries were included. The bonus was every morning when we would walk out of our rooms and watch the balloons from the balcony. They also have a big and complete breakfast spread which included eggs cooked to your liking. Hotel staff were always present and willing to assist. They even prepared breakfast to go on our last day since we had an early shuttle pickup for the airport. Thank you to Mehmet, Masi, Abdullah and two other ladies (I didn't get their names) for making our stay an enjoyable one. There is no elevator but staff is available to carry your luggage to your rooms.

The location and breakfast were great. The owner and his son were super nice. The room was clean. Nothing. It is not the best looking hotel, but it’s ok if you’re on a budget.

I rarely leave reviews but I have to for this one. The property was perfect especially for me as a solo traveler. The room was very clean, spacious and the views of the hot air balloons at sunrise surreal. Mehmet the property manager was so kind and hospitable and booked all my activities and I enjoyed every single one of them, especially the hot airballoon ride, ATV tour and Green tour. The staff was so kind and helpful. They made my trip one of the best trips. 10/10 recommend.❤️❤️ They can do no wrong in my eyes

Location is ok, little away from the main streets but thanks to that its more quiet area. Its all walking distance anyway in the village. Even a parking place was available. Fantastic breakfast. Nice view from the balcony. Friendly and helpful staff. All was good.

The host was more than hospitable. We had different rooms but he quickly moved things around to make us more convenient. He also helped us with the local ATV bookings. Would recommend contacting the host and book the local attractions. He also suggested the best places for shopping. Overall super satisfied

The property was located in a very convenient location, breakfast buffet is very good and very fresh, the room is cleaned daily. Everything is perfect. Staff were very nice and I found the service we received to be very professional for the most part. I assume that the owner is the man but we checked in with a woman who didn’t seem to know much about what we can do if we didn’t want to book the red or green tour. Maybe it was just language barrier but I was very confused throughout the whole interaction which was not very helpful. I overheard the owner assisted another group over breakfast though and he seemed to be rather helpful.

The decor is very unique. The property is old and the light is too dark at night. The floor and wall are not very clean and the bed is horrible - there is a gap in the middle of my double size bed.
