Göreme Cave Lodge

Very clean and nice place. The room was peaceful and authentic. We slept very well in the cave room and enjoyed relaxing time in the pool when returning after a long day of excursions. Everything was perfect. I wish they had a restaurant but of course there are many restaurants near the hotel.

It would be nice if breakfast started slightly earlier so we could start our day sooner.

Nice location, easy to walk to town or to the ridge to watch balloons. Breakfast was delicious, great rooftop views and the service was fantastic. They helped arrange airport transfers as well and even made us an early breakfast when we left. Nothing, everything was fantastic

Everything about this place was amazing. Our room, the food, and location. Most of all though, the staff was exceptional!!! The breakfast was served at 8:30. It would have been nice to have had breakfast served maybe at 7:30 am.

Friendly staff, happy to adapt to your needs Location is pretty central without being noisy Air conditioning which was a must since the room was pretty hot Breakfast a little simple (good omelette on request and Turkish coffee) but otherwise buffet very much around cheese and dairy… Had to place a request for some fresh fruits but request was fulfilled on the second day.

Very nice room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. But if you want amenities there is none. No gym or spa. But we didn’t care about that. We enjoyed our stay in the unique cave room. I wish it had a better terrace or a hot tub.

The location of Goreme Cave Lodge was excellent ? Less than 10 minutes walk from downtown ? Nice and quiet area because of the perfect distance away from the center of downtown ?The breakfast was awesome, and is a must if breakfast is an important part of your day. ? The lodge is family owned and extra care is definitely noticeable during your stay ? We received evening snacks daily from the owners which included various fruits ? The owners surprisingly bought a birthday cake for my wife which was so awesome because we didn’t mention it to them, but they noticed during check in ? I love the recommendation that they provided during our stay to include some really awesome restaurants in the area ❤️‍? The room that we stayed in was #3 which is the 2nd to the biggest within the lodge ? It also holds sentimental value as well as decades of history. The room was nice and clean. Directly in front of the room is a pool to soak during hot summer days. There is a patio to watch the balloons fly over the city, or take pictures with stunning rock formations to include Uchisar Castle. Lastly, the entire staff were nice, friendly, honest, and good people you can definitely trust in making your stay an awesome and enjoyable experience No issues.

Everything was perfect

The breakfast was the best of all my accommodations. I stayed in 6 different hotels during my trip. They would cook you a made to order breakfast if you wanted, but the buffet had many wonderful items to choose from. Pastries, cookies, so many sauces to choose from, fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, olives, cheeses, and more than I can remember here. The hotel is family owned and operated. The staff made me feel at home and Burak was the greatest concierge, receptionist, breakfast attendant (I hope I spelled his name right). The room was very nice. Wonderful Turkish decor. Bathroom was clean and had all I needed. Burak arrange my tour and airport shuttle and both were great. Nothing. I loved everything about this place.

You really sleep in a cave, very beautiful place and they will help you with any request as shuttler or tour reservation. The staff is very kind ! The wifi in the rooms and maybe was not my time of mattress.

The air contioned is not working well.

Staff is outstanding! Met us, sat down to discuss the attractions in the area that we were interested in visiting and did not pressure us to purchase others. Met us on returning from all our activities to offer tea, water, snacks and water. Hospitality was off the charts amazing. Also mailed us an item to our next hotel which we had mistakenly left behind. Above and beyond! Thank you! The bed was a bit soft and dippy in the middle.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel! The cave lodging was uniquely charming and the staff were warm and welcoming. The breathtaking views of Cappadocia from the hotel's terrace were simply stunning. I'm so grateful for the unforgettable experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Everything was PERFECT. The property is stunning, the rooms are very comfortable, the location is the best as it is walking distance to everything in Gorëme or to the local buss stop. The breakfast was delicious and the roof top terrace had hot air balloons flying right over our heads. The best part of this place? The staff!! Murat and his team are so kind, helpful, generous and thoughtful, we genuinely did not want to leave just so we could spend more time with them. Do not stay anywhere else, this place is the best absolute choice, no doubt about it. Nothing.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available to help with anything we needed. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location is perfect – peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to reach everything. We really felt at home and truly taken care of. Highly recommended!

We LOVED this hotel! 24 hour front desk was so helpful. They arranged all of our tours and transportation for us. The breakfast was delicious and had lots of options. The room was wonderful and had good AC and Wifi. The location was perfect- walking distance to shops and restaurants. Every single thing was perfect!
