Alpha Stone House

I absolutely loved this hotel and highly recommend it! It's only about a 5-minute walk from the town center, making it both convenient and peaceful. The location is perfect—you can easily reach everything while still enjoying a quiet and relaxing environment. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They allowed us to use the kitchen next to the reception and the terrace, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was served as a generous set menu, and they were happy to adjust it according to our preferences. We often cooked dinner and ate on the terrace at nights. The owner always told us that we were welcome to use the kitchen whenever we wanted—even at 2 a.m.! He encouraged us to treat the hotel like our own home. And that's exactly how it felt: warm, comfortable, relaxing, and truly welcoming. The accommodation offers excellent quality at a very reasonable price. Outstanding value for money, and I highly recommend staying here! None.

There is a nice view from roof-top terrace of the property, the breakfast is good and kichent is well equipped with all necessary stuff for cooking. In the room, a hot water kettle and a mini-refirgerator was provided too, that is so good for me. It is less than 10 min drive by car, I can reach to the famous spots, such as Love Valley, Rose Valley or some supermarket. This is a friendly accommodation to all solo traveller. the service of breakfast in the morning seems too later for foreign visitors as most of us are wishing to leave the accommodation for sightseeing early in the morning but maybe for the local people or visitors, they would like to have their later breakfast.

The room looked similar to the pictures. The listing listed a washing machine available. When we travel unfortunately laundry is a necessary evil and we book accommodation that allows us to do this chore. We specifically chose this place based upon this feature. Upon arriving we were told that there was no washer and use of one would be 10 euro. There was no reasoning with the staff. There were many deficiencies in the room that we tried to deal with (only warm water for shower - ultimately corrected) but mostly it was the terrible smell that permeated the room. While it smelled a bit like cat spray it was more likely sewer smell. If we left all of the windows open we could temporarily clear the smell but it always came back sometimes stinging my eyes. The breakfast was fine but minimal. We would not stay here again.

I made a booking for my colleagues. When they reached the hotel, the staff said they do not have a booking. They did not accommodate them! The reservation was non-refundable and they could not use what was paid for. It was late and my colleagues didn't want to argue with the staff so they found another place to stay. Be extra careful with this hotel!

I wish there was a fridge inside the room to storage beverages

Good-sized room, right by downtown Goreme, solid breakfast (but note that it’s relatively basic - not one of the elaborate ten-part Turkish breakfasts you see on social media). Not as upscale as a lot of other Goreme options and with fewer amenities (no kettle, had to ask for a fan because there’s no AC and the room was baking) - but it’s also cheaper, so you’re getting what you pay for.

My husband and I stayed at Alpha Stone House for 5 nights in Goreme recently and it was a sweet little place to stay. Very friendly owners, they went above and beyond for us and even arranged a surprise for our wedding anniversary when we arrived. The room was spacious and comfortable, very homey. If you’re looking for a small and comfortable place to stay that’s more home-y, this is the place for you. The bathroom was large and spacious as well. Bed was very comfortable and cozy. The room stayed warm with the heating, but also allowed for us to open the windows and turn the heat down which was nice. The breakfast was very good. A typical Turkish breakfast and in my opinion a good amount. The owners cook it each morning for you. Over all, this stay was nice and we enjoyed our time. :) There was no mini fridge in the room, which made it a little difficult to keep drinks / food in our room. The owners offered us access to the fridge upstairs on the top floor where the kitchen was which was nice Not as much privacy as you’d get in a hotel, we could hear a lot of noise in hallways But it seemed to be quieter when people would go in the rooms.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect. The owner and the female staff member were both incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe and welcomed. I’m so glad I chose this place—highly recommended for anyone visiting Cappadocia! Nothing

Clean and big room. Breakfast is outstanding. Very quiet at night. You will need a car to reach shops and market.

Great location (central and quiet), very nice host who made a very good Turkish breakfast in the morning and let us use the kitchen, nice room, beautiful view from the rooftop terrace.

Exceptional

This hotel has an unbeatable location, just 5 minutes away from a lively town center, yet nestled in a quiet corner that ensures a restful sleep. The breakfast is also a highlight, with adequate nutrition of fresh vegetables, protein and local specialties, I also enjoyed coffee and tea provided on the terrace. The room was spacious, spotless and thoughtfully equipped with books, the bed was very comfortable.importantly, the staff deserved a special praise, their kindness and hospitality made my stay feel personalized and stress free. Highly recommend for travelers seeking convenience relaxations and value for money!

The staff was friendly Bathroom and overall facilities, just passable but for the price I was expecting more

I like the location of the house, it is located in a quiet road just 6 mins walk away the town centre. Still very convenient but without the noise and busyness from the crowd. It is also on a slope, so the perfect location to watch the air balloons in the morning at the terrance. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. Not the fanciest room but for this price it is a very good value of money. The staff is very helpful - good communication via message. They accommodated my very late check-in request, and also offered great assistance for airport transfer. Great breakfast as well. None

Location superb. Good view for hot air balloons watching. Need to improve on the toilet facilities and ventilation.
