Great place - super friendly staff apartment Wes spectacular! Nothing

Good location. Not much contact with staff but they were helpful in our requests. Clean. Nice bay view. Swimming pool. Bathroom could be better equipped with a proper shower and mezzanine can be a bit claustrophobic for some people.

Well located spacious apartment on site pool well equipped kitchen friendly helpful staff at reception out of season so snack bar and nearby restaurant closed- not a complaint just needed to rely on making meals ourselves

The pool area was good. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. We were fooled by the 'Exeptional' and 'Fabulous' ratings on Booking. Com, but I think that was for the refurbished apartments. Ours was old, tired and dated. Think old yellow tiled bathroom with shower over bath and a shower curtain. It was a two bed apartment but really only big enough for two people. The living area was very small and only room for two chairs. The second bedroom had a very low sloping ceiling, suitable only for children, but the stairs up to it were too steep. The outside seating was the only place to eat, but we had wind and rain some days and had to eat indoors with only two chairs and no table, with two of us sitting on the stairs. Disappointed!

Relaxed atmosphere, very smooth check-in/out procedure, helpful and kind staff. The apartment we stayed in was nice, tastefully decorated and we absolutely appreciated the care it was designed with. There were places to store all our things, hooks for bags and towels and enough space for our cosmetics, enough clothes hangers for our dresses, spa e where to put away our huge suitcase... It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the fridge was stocked with complimentary water, orange juice and wine! The beds were very comfortable and so was the couch and armchairs in the living room area. For those who prefer darkness when sleeping there are blackout curtains. Good lighting fixtures and AC was running smoothly. The kitchen was well built for a little cooking though we did not use it much, we preferred to eat out at the local Greek taverna on the premises. There was enough space on the terrace and it was really nice to relax at and dry out all our towels and swimsuits. There were nets against insects and blinds in all the windows. The beach on the property was what we most appreciated - lots of space allowed for privacy and there were sunbeds aplenty. The pool bar was nice and the pool as well - wide enough for swimming and deep enough to jump in. The sea is very calm (basically still as a lake most of the time) as the Resort is located in the secluded bay. It was a bit murky and we advise those who don't like to walk on the muddy seabed or touch the seaweed to wear shoes. Overall, we found a haven here and the lazy, peaceful atmosphere and comfort won us over. The WiFi and phone reception was wonky but that apparently goes for the whole island. We are avid swimmers and love the sea so we kinda missed swimming in the waves as the water was super flat. We also would have appreciated better sea entrance - maybe with sand or pebbles as it was bit slippery with the mud. We would have appreciated less loud music at the pool bar as it sometimes disturbed our relaxing mood. Beware there are ducks living on the beachfront - they are harmless but rather huge and can be scary looking. We were initially afraid but they mostly left us alone but came time from time to check in on us. We had to sneak in snacks so they wouldn't come over.

It was spacious and clean It felt a bit basic and the finishes were not great. For instance the silicone in the bathroom was not done properly which is an easy one to fix. Also it would have been good to have basic condiments in the kitchen like oil vinegar salt and pepper. The worst was the area and that it was close to a double carriage way as well as a pile of garbage left on the side of the road.

Beautifully situated Nothing

The staff were lovely. The outside seating area was lovely. Very dated property in need of some modernisation. Although clean and maintained. The cooking and preparation area was only 2 feet square and there were only 2 chairs inside to sit at. Had to use the sandwich maker on a coffee table in the area at the bottom of the stairs. The pool bar is owned by a different company! So you could not take any drinks or food to the pool at this self catering accommodation without getting into trouble!

Beautiful location with grassed areas to sunbath next to the see. Spacious grounds. Staff in the office were lovely and very helpful. Lots of information given about the area. 10 minute walk to lovely restaurants with supermarket and pharmacy 5 mins away. Very clean apartments. A little dated but very clean. I personally did not like the maisonette bedroom in the roof. Not a problem but next time I will ask for the one with downstairs bedrooms.

Great place, amazing people working there, we got a helpful hand about trips and restaurants. The place is very spacious and peaceful, food in the pool bar very good! Highly recommended! Best place for having a peaceful time and great point to go on a daily trips to visit Corfu further.

Good location and value for money Nothing

Apartments were well equipped with lovely veranda to eat dinner in the evenings. Pool was closely located with a bar which was delightful to enjoy drinks and snacks. It’s situated not to far a walk from restaurants and small beach. Perfect low key and easy holiday, everything we needed. The Gouvia bay itself wasn’t the nicest to swim in, we hired a scooter to get us around the north coast beaches which were beautiful, but have to travel to get to them. So if you are after beach on the doorstep then it’s perhaps not the nicest! But Dassia and Ypsos were very close and lovely, and perfectly situated to travel to some of the other smaller local beaches with crystal waters.
