Very well located an spacious Everything was fine

The checkout time is unfortunately a bit too early. Midday would have been the sweet spot as it is in most locations. We were told there was no extended checkout available at the time however.
-
Nice location and restaurant.
-
The price of the buffet. 6 euros for a glass of orange juice in crazy.

Wearing a cap to use indoor pool.

Pool nice Uncomfortable bed nothing in bathroom including hair dryer

The pool was decent. Breakfast buffet was good. Kind of everything but the pool was a disappointment. The rooms and facilities are worn out. Feels like the staff is really young and doesn’t really care about basic hospitality. The place kind of feels deserted and soulless. We wouldn’t have minded if this was a cheap hotel but with a pricetag of 500€ a night, every little detail that didn’t really work felt like a let down.

I had a great stay, the room was amazing and huge! Wasn't expecting so much space. The view was also a plus, and the hotel itself is beautiful. But my minibar wasn't working, the telephone in the room wasn't working and the air conditioner (even if it's a climatizer) was so mild I hardly even felt it. Everything else was awesome :) Stuff not working in the apartment, like the telephone, minibar and air conditioning.

I loved the property. I liked the pools. I liked the proximity to the beach I liked the restaurants I likes the staff I didn’t like the fact that there’s no help from the hotel to transport luggage to the Marina! At least a motorized Golf cart to carry luggage to the Pier. This is the first time for me, staying in a resort without any type of motorized scooter or Golf cart to help passengers with their luggage. Totally unacceptable. The days we were there were rainy days, it rained every night and we had to walk with luggage in the rain to the Marina and the Pier! This is totally unacceptable! You don’t have to pay a driver to do that all day, what you need is to have a motorized Cart stationed at the hotel that anyone can drive when necessary to carry the guests and their luggage. Please consider that for the future!

The location, while Troia is already small on itself, it is very close to main attractions and to one of the best beaches. The room is nice and clean. The pools are good. The breakfast is also good. The staff that received us felt a bit condescending and not really a nice welcome to the hotel. The fact that there was no couple bed and only twin beds is a bit annoying. There seems to be a lack of maintenance that would say that for a 4 star hotel would not be something to expect. There's a restaurant on the hotel which is a passible Italian restaurant but I would wonder that for a long stay is a wrong choice for the hotel restaurant in Portugal.

Large room with nice view The outdoor and indoor swimming pools were extremely dirty, there were a lot of weird particles suspended in the water and it was impossible to see the bottom of the pools. There were a lot of noisy children with buoys and other toys in the spa swimming pool

Rooms are very confortable. The balcony view is very nice. Breakfast with good variety. Location is superb. Swiming pools quality of water very poor. Maintenance required on the terrace equipments. Tales missing on the pools. Decks with broken woods and sunshades broken. Untrained staff. Few people working to attend the demand. Management does not looks like present on site.

apartment had alot of sand on the floor when we arrived the dinner was fine but overly priced.

Reasonable Buffet type Breakfast. It used to have better cheese and ham options in the previous years. The Facilities are in bad conditions. The gym was closed for the whole stay, the indoor pool was closed for 2 days for maintenance (during high season) and just because someone vomited... my local gym is able to solve a vomiting issue in a couple of hours. The indoor Jacuzzi... well... in the last 3 years was never available due to maintenance. The taps in the indoor changing rooms are mostly unavailable... The outdoor pool had a green colour and living insects inside which means the water is not fully treated.
