Roaches was In room tv was already broken and didn’t work internet didn’t work room was just a mess I use to love going to candlewood but the roaches is everywhere also the 1st floor smell just like roach spray

There was roaches in our bedroom and bathroom. They did not serve breakfast.

I loved the kitchenette it was just enough for my weekend stay will stay again for sure affordable nice staff amazing loved it

I was on the first floor and sleep later in the morning than most. The room is very well insulated as I didnt hear anything from the parking lot or the hall way through the night or morning. The bed was very comfortable!!

Location was fine and the staff was very friendly. But could not help me with changing rooms. I requested a 2 bed room and got 1 queen. Was told because I booked through a third party there was no guarantee of what kind of room I would get. Not happy about that!

We left early because we had cockroaches in our room. Disgusting!

The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. I will definitely stay here again. Another perk if you're going to the ECU campus while staying here is that there's a "back way" to campus which allows you to avoid some of the traffic on the main road to ECU.

My room had baby roaches and the toilet would not flush

This is my second stay at this property as it's close to my son and daughter in law home, I was very please the hotel room had a stove and standard size refrigerator which is much more convenient than a mini fridge which is in most hotels, unfortunately I was unable to utilize both during this stay due to my family of 5 were booked into a compact room as opposed to a large suite that I originally booked, in order to accommodate my family of 5 bedding I requested a rollaway. Imagine opening a rollaway in compact room that took up 85% of the space. The rollaway could only fit in the space next to the stove and refrigerator which made utilizing both impossible. Candlewood Suites Greenville NC by IHG I checked in on May 29th (My Birthday), although the hotel deducted $511 from my account prior to checking in. When I arrived with my family of 5, I was told the large suite that I booked was not available, my family and I was checked into a compact size room that reeked. I was then moved to another compact size room, to say I was not a happy camper is an understatement! I did not receive a call nor an email informing me the room that I booked was not available. instead, I was given excuses! The agent sensed my dismay and comp'd both nights. When I checked out, I requested a folio which indicated a zero balance. I called the hotel to receive another copy I was told to contact booking.com although I received a copy upon check out. The same process in pulling the folio and emailing it to me should have been the same process when I called. Instead I was given the run around by the same gentleman who checked me in on May 29th I asked his name he informed me his name is Viel nonetheless I would like to solve this matter as quickly as possible!
