Clarion Inn

We had a very good stay. The motel is going thru major remodeling. Our room was remodeled and very nice. The lobby and breakfast loooked great. The breakfast was very good. There was a lot of remodeling equipment and material on the site, but it was clean and not noisey. I did not use the pool, but it looked great, the water was clear and the pool guy was cleaing the pool when we were there. We traveled with two small dogs. In the back of the facility there was a grass area and a fenced area for dogs.....very nice.......but wished this area was lighted at night. The price was right. We will be back.

Almost finished with the renovations. The room was updated, clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast had good options.

Decent for a motel

Basic stay. Unfortunate that the pool displayed online was closed without notice beforehand.

2nd time here. Pool finally opened, but it was raining of course. Seems like they're inconsistent here with amenities. Gym was nice, but could definitely use more weights or at least kettlebells. Been nicer places that only require a $50 security deposit vs the $100 here. They're undergoing major construction/renovations!!! So please be aware of that noise and ongoing work especially when you head to breakfast. You can see the walls and ceiling being ripped out and that doesn't seem safe for guests. Place seems fairly clean. The breakfast could be better with pork alternatives and less bread options.

Beds were pretty comfortable. A/C was nice but noisy. The price was good. Next to a waffle house.

Very helpful friendly staff. Breakfast was good and the most useful was the airport shuttle.

The room was pretty clean minus the fact most of the hotel was under construction during my stay but otherwise, the staff, and the room were pretty nice.

It was pet friendly which I loved but once I got there my king bedroom was switched to a double bed because that room wasn’t equivalent with having pets in it. The room I got switched too wall was dirty. And Once got in the shower the faucet came completely off with water shooting out of it. Making me had to shower when I got all the way back home to Virginia… I know renovation was going on but I didn’t expect to be placed directly by a room that was being renovated…

Good Room

I expected a nicer stay. The room was dilapidated, paint covering rotting wall tiles, ceiling, wall texture and bed frames. The chairs were absolutely filthy. My grandmother was so disgusted, she refused to take her clothes off & slept on top of the sheets with a shopping bag barrier between her and any linens. Would not recommend & will not return.

Room was clean. Water pressure was low so toilets didn’t flush very well. Pool was dirty and I wouldn’t recommend swimming in it. Breakfast buffet was good. The rate is reasonable. Clemson was having graduation so everything in the area was expensive. Staying in Greenville was a cheaper alternative and only 45 miles from the school.

Clean and close to the airport and the cost was good

The property was in the process of renovation so the exterior was a bit out of sorts. The staff was great, though. Offered me one of the newly completed renovated deluxe rooms at no extra charge and I was very impressed at the amazing quality of the room.
