Very nice, attentive and friendly staff. Ideal location to visit the Barolo region and chat with the very friendly people of Grinzane village, always ready to give plenty of advice on places to visit. Excellent grill bbq restaurant below the rooms. One of the best meat places i’ve been to, with a great wine list and at affordable prices. I highly recommend the Pelaverga wine, for a change from the usual Barolos, Dolcettos and Barbarescos. The bathroom light switching on at night with movement doesn’t make sense at all, along with the bright lighting in general in the room. Very expensive price range for the facilities given, altough the Barolo region is often very pricey indeed on weekends. The photos of the pool on the booking.com website should be removed or marked clearly as pictures of pools that are NOT on the premises, but about 10m away by car and that require an extra entrance fee and booking. The manager was very kind to refund the cost of the swimming pool and also find for us a very nice pool alternative setting on a last minute basis, as the one in the photos was fully booked.
