the family room concept was nice. Facility in the reception and breakfast area was good. Location is good, near to a lot of sightseeing spots, as well a lot of food options around the hotel. Floor area is old and dirty. The furniture in the room are very dirty, sticky and old. Especially the sofa had a large stain. Room has a strange smell, only after we let the aircon run and open the window it was better. Picture in the internet of the hotel is not showing the reality.

We stayed in this hotel 2 weeks. We liked mostly the staff, very helpful and pleasant. I will come back for sure.

Clean, quiet, good location Elevators (there’s 2 of them) was full, I asked girl from reception where’s is stairs and she told me that stairs are forbidden! How’s it possible? What ppl must do in case of the fire or something happened? We was in rush but have to wait about 7 minutes for elevator, do you think it’s normal?? Open the stairs, it’s not good to close them.

Rooms are clean, well lit, comfortable, convenient automatic curtains that sort of thing. The buffet breakfast is outstanding. The absolute best I’ve ever experienced. The only draw back for this property is it is a good 20 minute plus hike to the nearest subway station.

1. Canton Fair: you can process your badge printing by the lobby. I think some even made their profiles on the spot. The free shuttle back and forth to Canton Fair was a huge plus for me! There are 3 time slots going and traveling back. They even provided bottled water and snickers going there. 2. Breakfast had a good selection; seating was ok. 3. We ate dinner at the hotel for 2 nights since there were not a lot of nice options near the hotel. The restaurant was quite nice and not expensive. Cons: 1. The hotel location is quite far from Canton Fair, and Beijing Lu (old town area). It will take around 1 hr via public transportation but around 20 mins if via Didi. The nearest metro station is a 15 min walk while the nearest bus station is 5 mins. If going to tourist/ shopping locations, it's easier to just book a Didi. 2. Our original room had a leak from the aircon. We tried calling their front desk but the English-speaking staff was minimal so it took 1 hr for them to take any action. 3. The area outside the hotel is very busy and crowded. The lobby is on the 5th floor. The first floor inside and outside has a strong cigarette smell. 4. There is no gym or swimming facility - not sure why they put it was there is. They partner with a gym but you have to pay CNY 38 per day and you have to walk 5 mins away to get to it. There are no facilities in the hotel itself.

The hotel is located in a super nice area of Guangzhou, we didn't realize it when we booked it. It's a short and cheap taxi ride from the Canton Tower and shopping malls, but the best is all the small restaurants around the hotel with delicious food. The hotel also offers a laundry room where you can clean and dry your clothes for free, which we appreciated a lot. The hotel was a bit overpriced compared to other hotels we stayed at in the Guangdong area, but the reason could be that it was during the Canton fair, so occupancy was high, and they did offer a shuttle to the fair for free, although a taxi is only about 100 RMB.
