Food, food, food! a bit pricy

Good breakfast, lots of variety, staffs are friendly and helpful. Location is good, near major shopping centre and lots of good Restaurants around. None, everything is good, except there is no self serve laundry.

Facilities -- I was disappointed that there was no coffee maker in the room. Selection of teas was quite disappointing too The bathtub and shower look very nice but don't really operate that well. Bath area rather dangerous. Need more grab bars I ordered breakfast on two mornings. Food was cold when it arrived. Bread was cold. Coffee, which was expensive, was really not up to scratch. Bar on 2 floor was very pleasant but food in the Chinese dimsum restaurant on 3rd floor was forgettable.

This is the 4 or 5 time that I have stay in your hotel . I have always book the River facing room and was always given a floor on the 14 or 15 . First time eating at your fine restaurant . The Chicken and Char siew was good . Except the shark fin was a disappointment. It is what it is.

The hotel is excellent on location and services. Tim, the manager of concierge, is very nice and helpful. We left some important belongings in the room after checked out. Concierge staff mailed our belongings to the hotel we stayed in Shanghai. We definitely will stay at White Swan Hotel if we have chance to visit Guangzhou. Nothing we do not like.

We stayed in a Deluxe King room 2403 with river views which was very spacious 60m2, bed, bath & shower face the river, nice large desk area, TV was good with access to CNN, Wifi was good too as could still access FB, Whatsapp, which are usually not accessible using hotel wifi in China. The hotel lobby was stunning with a huge atrium & waterfall, great for photos. The nearby old European buildings & beautiful trees, landscaping were a delight to stroll around. There was a big Starbucks Reserve nearby decorated in Harry Potter theme. We enjoyed excellent dim sum at the 2F Hongtu Hall and a delicious dinner at Jade Hall. We had not stayed in Guangzhou for 7 years so it was a most memorable return. Thanks to the hotel & staff. We would definitely return sooner next time. That we only stayed 1 night, no chance to use he Pool or try all the dining venues. The only fault in the room was that the USB charging outlets in the bedside desk drawers were slow charging. Fortunately we brought our own USB power adapters. A minor matter was that the bathroom scale was low on battery so I couldn't check my weight, Ha Ha!

The location of the hotel is wonderful. The river view room is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. The gardens of the hotel are beautiful. I feel sorry for not having enough time to appreciate the gardens and swimming pool because of short staying period. Tim, the manager of concierge, is very nice and helpful. Nothing unlike

I stayed in the hotel 20 years ago and now , after major renovations in 2013, the property is beautiful , just as nice if not better. Hotel staffs are well mannered and always eager to help. Service at the dim sum restaurant could be improved. Staff are not well trained and took them a long time to deliver food.

could be a lot of people, you are not directly in the city, you are on this peninsula for the old diplomats, so to get out of it, to the city, might take some energy, but close access.
