Yimi MIX International Apartment

Location was great. Walk to the metro in covered / thru the shopping mall. They do served breakfast ( when you upgrade or book superior rooms ). We did upgrade for our 4 days stay. The toilet was leaking and the floor was wet, despite putting the bath mats. Told them to rectify and they keep giving empty promise. ( quite dangerous as we do wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom ). Is only when I told them I need to do review, then they sent someone in to do it properly. The WC also do not allow us to throw stained / dirty tissue in.. Get choked easily.. also need them to clear the choke. Maybe is just our luck, cause our friends whom travel with us, their rooms are OK.

location is good, the breakfast is ok. name of the hotel/apartment is not same as listed in booking.com. this is dishonest. local taxi also cannot find as the name mismatch. when arrived the lobby many other different brand name counter and the information counter pointed us wrong counter too. the wifi cant be used at all.

Room is exactly as what was shown in the website. Room is clean and spacious has all the basic facilities. But we chose this apartment due to convenience. Lift is a bit slow though. Hotel is conveniently located near to the Beijing Lu pedestrian and shopping street. The apartment tower is located on top of a mall called "A Mall". Gongyuanqian Metro station Line 1 and 2 can be accessible via an escalator in the mall thru the basement floors. It is also convenient if you have big luggages like us as there was no level differences or stairs between the apartment to the metro. They allowed us for early check-in i.e at 12pm. Staff at receptionist is not fluent in english but they used the translating machine which is fine. Finding the hotel was a bit tricky. The hotel name (Yimi MIX) and the name of where we check-in is totally different. No wonder Didi Apps couldn't find the hotel name so we ended up just typing the hotel address. We checked -in at a hotel counter which states One & One International Apartment. At the same lobby, there is also a counter for another apartment name as well as accommodation for post partum recovery which I think is a thing here. (refer to photos). In the end, had to go to the counter to ask. The easiest way to the apartment is a side entrance between A Mall and another mall called May Flower Plaza. Breakfast is as basic as it gets i.e just congee, cereal, bread and basic meals. Interior wise, it reminds you of a staff cafeteria. Lucky thing the breakfast package was complimentary.

When I got there, I was not able to find the hotel as it's not even called Yimi Mix, but instead the hotel was called One & One. Can't comment on breakfast as I didn't even stay a night because my children developed rashes right after we checked in to the room, so we check out and cancel the rest of the 6 nights. The room was dusty and small for a family room. We cancelled our room for the whole stay of 7 nights. The hotel reception agreed to refund except the first night as when booking was made it was free cancellation within 24 hours. The even gave us a receipt to come back next to collect cash but they next day they told us to go through Booking.com and refused to refund.

Good location Close to the metro station and within walking distance to Beijing Lu The apartment has no mini fridge, no safe and no wardrobe. The staff do not speak English and need the translation app to communicate. Non Chinese will find the breakfast very limited as there is only toast, butter, jam and boiled egg or you can fry your own egg. We asked for a late check out (in order to have a shower before we leave) as our flight was at midnight but they said that we would have to pay for an additional night which we did not. There is no storage area to keep your luggage after checking out. At the reception they provide a rope to pass around your suitcases and there is no security. I would personally not recommend this apartment.

The laundry service is excellence!! The enterance of the hotel not clear.

The location is great, near to dozens of great eateries. Its room and beds are clean too, no smoke smell. It is also just beside a metro station. The lift gets busy at times, waiting time should be expected.

Location, very near 北京路. Staff very friendly, check-in and check-out super easy. Poor sound-proofing. No privacy for bathroom. Room quite dated, cigarette smell not just in the room but along corridor, unpleasant public laundry area.

we are surprised that the service was exceptionally good, because the employee studied our booking throughly and get us breakfast which wasn't reflected on our booking when we showed them. the breakfast was nice for the travellers, although as chinese, we definitely prefer to be more adventurous to look for good food outside, their food was pretty good though. nothing
