It's a good location, short walk to Malecon, restaurants, and historic sites. View from our 7th floor room was nice. Staff answered our questions and called a taxi when we needed to go to the airport at 3:00 am. The common areas were nice, and breakfast was good and plentiful. This hotel has seen better days. The bathroom louvered window was missing a slat of glass, the giant bathtub was not in great shape, one bedside light did not work, and in general room lighting was harsh. The bedside tables and desk look like they have drawers, but they don't. Hotel staff set the room safe code and we were not able to change it, but we had no security problems at all.

Location to malecon is good. Everything else is like a low-budget hotel.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff members, especially Leonel at the front desk, were extremely kind and attentive. I will definitely be returning here.

I love staying at the Hotel Presidente when I come to Guayaquil. The staff is very welcoming and professional. The rooms are very clean with big comfortable beds.The location is excellent for walking around downtown Guayaquil.

Excelent hotel, bad location just because Guayaquil is bad place, didn’t feel safe. Hotel is the best thing that happen to us there, totally recommend. We loved it. The receptions girl was awesome and very helpful. Ecuador and the power cuts, nothing to do with the hotel, even they have a generator so better is imposible
