Cottages on River Road

It was a nice, peaceful and cool place to just unplug for a few days. Staff were amazing. Will definitely stay there again 👍👍

We loved the place and took a swim in the heated pool. The location was so nice, very close to Johnson’s Beach.

Clean room, nice staff, parking right in front of the property, and pet friendly. Nice complimentary breakfast with sweet & savory options.

I loved the parking and check in and checkout was super fast and flawless!

Quiet, comfortable modern cottage with king bed. Cottages surround nice, well maintained garden area with firepit, gazebo, pool. Plenty of parking on road. Two minute drive to downtown Guerneville. Friendly, efficient staff. Good breakfast with tasty spinach quiche, warm egg sandwiches on ciabatta bread, etc.

Honestly this place had such charm to it. A hidden gem. I’d return here for sure.

Superb

Charming, quiet, secure and well-maintained just outside of Guerneville. Our go-to place whenever we visit the area.

This is a wonderful place to stay. After you walk through the lobby you enter the magical grounds with cottages facing each other under the canopy of redwoods. A solar heated pool is tucked into the side with a nice gazebo just outside. They provide a delicious breakfast with fruit, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, quiche, and biscuits. At night there is a firepit and they provide the fixings for s'mores. I returned this year after staying there last year.

It's quite beautiful there. The noise of the road is a lot louder than I expected. There were also no towels in my room.

That said, it seems like a comfortable site for a family trip with kids. The s'mores by the fire was nice, as was the sax recital. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. I think it's just not our jam. And, oh lordie, that that mattress!!

The staff was very gracious and friendly. The room was very clean. My daughter very much loved the smoores and the cat!

Parking great, staff great, lovely property. Breakfast nicer than expected. S’mores was fun. Just be aware that if you book the tiniest room it is tiny. No closet. But still we were quite comfortable.

Close to Armstrong Redwoods Close to River Road so could hear cars zipping by

everything about this place is wonderful. the pool is nestled under tall trees and they provide smores at 7 pm in the community fire pit which is so fun to watch kids and families enjoy and play outside together. i enjoyed my stay no complaints ! the cottages all face eatch other so there isn't much "privacy" but we spent our days at the river and out of hotel so didnt mid because it was so peacful when we returend
