Unique accomodation in a monastery. Good breakfast. Perfect location in the heart of beautiful vine village of Gumpoldskirchen. Perfect short trips possible, very good traditional food within few steps. We stayed there with a grandchild and our dog. Walks possible along vineyards. Zero

Quiet, peacefull area with vineyards around the castel. Amazing view from hotel room. The access to the historical castel by little stone bridge over the moat. We feel ancient time atmosphere being there. Beautifull courtyard, staircases and original decoration, furniture and paintings. Gumpoldkirchen is worth to stay not only as a stop during the trip. Excellent restaurant 2 mins walk. Parking facilities just by the castle entrance is an advantage.

Staying at Schloss Gumpoldskirchen felt like living in a fairytale. The castle is surrounded by vineyards and peaceful nature, yet only a short drive from Vienna. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and full of historic charm, with a breathtaking view over the hills. Breakfast was delicious and varied, served in a stunning old hall. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. A perfect mix of history, comfort, and serenity — we will definitely come back! ✨

Beautiful location, clean spacious room, comfy bed, free parking, quiet. Well, the next door church bells rang some, but didn't disturb. There were no staff present to rate! Emails and a phone call were very pleasant, though.

Wonderful location in a climatic castle with a chapel, surrounded by vineyards. Very tasty breakfasts and tidy rooms. Delicious local wine (!). A trail to Wienerwald right next to the Schloss and Vienna only 20 km. And of course a very hospitable owner.

Altho there is no AC in 33C heat, the spacious rooms are cool and the hillside breeze through the large windows refreshing. The stay was immaculate. Breakfast was fresh and fulfilling. Historical aspects of the schloss were everywhere evident and inspire curiosity.
