Close enough to Wien to get there easy by car and train, but far enough to enjoy Baden, Modling and other small towns around without having to deal with the traffic. Also easy to reach and leave, if you are just in transit. Parking ia easy to find in the area. The staff is soooo nice and the atmosphere is relaxed. Breakfast is good and diverse. Even though it has an antique look and feel, everything it's super clean, from towels to sheets. Super dog friendly. ?

Nice location for tranzit or visiting Viena and the area, without being in the busy area. The owners and staff are realy nice and helpful, plus they speak English. The breakfast was good and divers. The rooms are large and clean with comfortable beds, even if a bit outdated, but that's part of the charm as well. The biggest plus is the garden, that is cool even in a hot summer day. Also the room was ok as temperature, even without AC, even if outside the temperature was 35+ Also dog friendly. ?

I confirmed arrival time twice via booking app and by messaging the hotel. On our arrival the hotel was closed. Why confirm? Why couldn't they said right away that they are closed at 7pm on a weekday. Not a crazy ask. I wouldn't be mad if they had denied the request. Appearance of hotel was pleasant, outdoor area inviting, breakfast well presented with decent choices, breakfast room cozy and bright. Downstairs area old school but homely. The room received not what I booked. Booked double bed+single bed, received smaller room 2x single beds. No check in person at 6 PM to raise concerns, aka wrong room allocation. Room felt/ was "decorated" like a dorm. Single beds, extremely hard mattress with small duvet. No kettle to make tea/coffee. Bathroom fixtures/fittings need attention/coming apart. One item for handwash/showergel/hairwash / conditionaire (I am scared to think what that was in that bottle LOL). NO parking allocation, we were advised street parking is available yet we only found 2 spots at 6 PM, def would have been concerned if we arrived later at night.

The toilet bowl has a different design which made me uncomfortable.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was good and breakfast excellent. They catered well for food allergies as well. The rooms were a bit outdated but still comfortable.
