Big with big kitchen.

The location was good and the Wi-Fi worked reliably. Despite the attractive price, the quality of the accommodation was far below expectations. The bathtub was yellow-stained, the bed and rug had a large amount of long hairs on them (either from previous guests or the maid, or both), the kitchen area also looked dirty, with stains on the fridge and surfaces that clearly hadn't been well maintained, and of course I can’t forget to mention the cockroaches. When I told a staff member about the cockroaches, his response was simply "oke". There was no language barrier, since I do speak some Vietnamese, so I was genuinely surprised. I repeated it a second time in case he hadn’t understood, and again the answer was "oke, oke!" No misunderstanding, and not even a simple apology like "xin lỗi". You might look at the price and feel like it’s a good deal. Once you arrive, you’ll probably try to convince yourself that "it’s not that bad". That is, until you realize how bad it actually is. My advice: don’t be fooled by the positive reviews. Even on a tight budget, look for somewhere decent. You deserve better.

Very clean and big room to stay and quiet

I liked the colonial character of the room. Very spacious..modernised structure..with the old colonial hardwood retained.. The hotel is in a great spot..set back from the road..it is near the park and the station..and a 20 min. walk away from the coach to Cat Ba.. I enjoyed my 3 night stay and would stay again.. Yes it is clean...but not the out of the way remote areas that people like to find issue with... Also..it had a decent TV with a variety of good channels... The mattress is hard...but on the 3rd night I slept like a baby and felt it may be doing my back some good....

Very large room in a quiet alley, close to the station, park & city centre. The staff were very helpful & friendly. We enjoyed visiting Haiphong & the hotel was a great choice. Excellent value for money. The booking.com map showed the position of the hotel incorrectly, & needs amending.

Very happy with my stay, thank you. However, putting the keys of everyone who is not in the rooms on the reception counter and therefor indicating who is out of the hotel and their room is not good security. Otherwise, A very good and enjoyable stay. Thank you. Having keys on the counter indicating who was out of the room. This is not good security.

I liked the location because it is in the city center 1. Too expensive laundry and really too expensive. the most expensive I paid in Vietnam 2. The bed was too hard and I couldn't sleep. I think the facility should invest in mattresses
