Clean and new hotel rooms. Walking distance to the beach. We had very nice sunset walks. The hotel staff let us rent a bike so we got to explore Ha Long City and go over the bridge (where we spent most of our free time). It is in a developing tourist area, so if you’re looking for more of a local experience, look elsewhere. It’s not anything to do w/ the hotel itself but the location is around a lot of new construction so it was very loud starting around 6am (understandable as it’s May / summer heat). Also the gym across the street blairs music at 5:30am for a morning class so if you want to sleep in request a room towards the back of the hotel. In terms of location, if you’re looking for a more locals experience stay outside of this area. We weren’t able to cancel as we booked online but if we could have we would have stayed over the bridge as we spent more time in Bach Dang.

Bed was comfortable and shower was hot. WiFi worked well. Construction work nearby woke us up early. Nothing open nearby, ghost town! Need your own transport. Very thin walls, could hear the sound of the lift and other guests easily. Staff did not speak English so struggled to communicate.

New hotel, well located, friendly staff. The air at the lobby and at the corridor and sometimes in the bathroom was not good. The rooms are also not so good isolated. We wanted to some boat tour through the hotel and they were really helpful during the booking process. The tour was terrible though. It was cut off (2 hours 15 minutes instead of 3-4 hours), they literally passed by all the check points in a hurry, the food was served only 40 minutes before the tour finished. All the passengers were really upset. It was of course because of the boat company. But make sure to ask when booking through the hotel to avoid tour from *Toàn Thắng* company.

They had a good selection of TV channels 1. Shortened my stay and got charged full rack price for my stay per day 2. Doors get locked late hour. Expect to wait to open 3. It's a new development so not easy to find or close to center 4. No English so be prepared to use a translator

Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The familiy apartment with 2 bedrooms is big with nice balcony. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
