Great location in Ha Long City. I liked that this area is a bit quieter than the main city but still close enough by walking to restaurants and also the beach. The room was also quiet and we slept very well with the mattresses. The family who runs the hotel is also very friendly. The facilities were okay. It's kind of an old building. No complaints though as there is not much a property owner can do about this.

Good sized room, nice bathroom, tv was great with Netflix too. We booked a double room but there was an issue with the lock so they moved us to a twin room. It was fine. The ‘twin’ beds were just 2 double beds so was not an issue. The owners couldn’t speak any English but seemed lovely and were good with Google translate. Only problem was it was a 30 min walk to find restaurants. Also we had a few midgies (flys) in our room but we’re not bitten by them
